Birkenstocks are the best, what more can I say? I've been wearing some version of these Gizeh around the house and out and about since the company first began making them and I am just as happy with them now as I've always been. Treat them right and a single pair will last you many years. There's great instructions available online for how to clean them properly and keep up the cork soles so I won't bother you all with those now, but let me just note that cork sealant and borax are your Birkenstocks best friends - aside from your own feet of course. Also, just make sure to buy them in the exact correct size - Birkenstocks fit tightly to your feet and should not have wiggle room on either end of your foot. I've known people to buy them oversized and get a lot of foot pain from them, and that certainly should not be the case. In fact they're the most comfortable things shoes I've ever worn, period. Treat your feet to a pair and they will thank you for years to come!

FAKE. FAKE AS FAKE CAN BE. First off, they don't even feel like real Birkenstock, second, there is glue all over the insides and they're coming apart, third, the buckle feels like some kind of cheap aluminum. They're going back. I'm so disappointed. Do your research......... I found several articles about fake Birkenstock shoes being sold through third party vendors on Amazon.

I adore these. It takes a couple of days to wear in and get used to the toe piece but after that - perfection. They are a lovely help to my posture and alleviate back pain from the super flat flip-flops and other summer sandals.The silver is a perfect color. I can even get away with wearing these to the office on casual Friday as the silver makes them a touch more dressy. They lend a little finesse and polish to any cute summer outfit or just shorts and a t-shirt. I've lived in these every day since purchased. Will buy more Birks!

I have been a big fan of birkenstocks for atleast 15 years now. I usually buy the water birkis but I've had some cork pairs before just been a long time but the ones I had before I dont ever recall having a problem with I just always ended up ruining them getting them too wet. This pair however were horrible all around to me. I purchased these to wear for my wedding because the silver sparkle would have matched my dress. Not sure if they sent the wrong ones by mistake or what but nothing about these resembled glitter or being sparkly at all. Received 2 days prior to my wedding so I had no option but to use them. They should just say "Metallic silver" for color if anything because they are nothing more then a solid color of that maximum but just silver is what I'd say. I wore them the day before a little bit when setting up hoping to break them in some since they felt very uncomfortable and after an hr of wear I had to kick them off cause feet were hurting bad. Then wore them for wedding day and that was a mistake beings since I wore them longer then an hr, but only maybe 3 hrs tops, and it hurt so bad to walk on my feet that evening and for quite a few days after because they made my feet split open all over with what felt like paper cuts basically. Everytime I'd walk itd sting or hurt and there was just nothing remotely close to soft or comfortable about these at all. I will NEVER purchase again. Not to mention the shoe box they came in was tore up and falling apart like it was smashed but nothing else it came in or had inside was damaged. Maybe birkenstocks have changed how they make these over the years or maybe these aren't actual birkenstocks but these were a HUGE waste of a big chunk of money. Thankfully Amazon themselves were the ones to help try to make it right or give me some money back. Just wanted a little at first based off color being inaccurate but after I wore them they weren't even worth a dime.
