Worked for about a week was great now not activating follow me mode and emergency mode seems stuck on even when not pulled shame as was really good device untill this had to reset 4 times issue is when u dont have a usb plus and lead so if out this is no good so pointless really needs looking at so can reset on go if needed very upset and not worthy of price tag tbh

I must admit I was a bit skeptical, as since it does not make a sound, I thought, what was the point in having one anyway? Couldn't you track the missing person by tracking their phone instead? Why over-complicate matters?Well, I was wrong!Let's just say that the phone would be the first thing the criminal would want to make sure you do not have and, as you see in the films, this is the first device to be discarded of!The sound alarm only works if you are in a densely populated area where help can come, but then your voice works just as well and the market is flooded with cheap alarms that would screech loudly. But, if you are in a dark valley and not a soul in sight...you can scream all you like and there will be nobody to help, so panicking and making the attacker panic is the worst course of action. What you do want though is to alert everyone BUT the perpetrator and this is where this device, that can be hung around your neck, or attached to your belt, or your bag even, comes in handy, as at a discreet pull, everyone on your app knows something is not quite right and where you are! So....at the end of the day, a smart and handy way to stay safe, I say!

This is a great idea and very discrete and small and easy to keep in your pocket. I wanted this so my Partner can track me while during my journey walking home, there are questionable areas I feel unsafe in and at least if I alert the SOS he can see where I am and either come and meet me or alert police etc.Installing the app is easy, you search for Alphahom and it's mainly suitable for iPhone. You have to enter your email then enter a verification code, accept some terms and conditions on data use and choose the level of notifications and when your location is used, though if you say 'allow when using the app' it tells you that you need to have 'always' activated anyway so i'm not sure why they give you the choice!You then connect your device via Bluetooth and it paired fine and then you add your 'Protector', my Partner then had to be invited, install the app and then enter and allow all of his location to be used etc, even though he personally doesn't need to be tracked which I thought was strange, it then says at the end of the process whether you are using the device or if you're a protector, so really I think the app should ask this for as he didn't need to allow so many different location things and Bluetooth etc as a Protector.I then did a test run and pulled the end of the device which flashed red and alerts an SOS, within a couple of seconds my Partners phone then made an alarm sound and notified him that I was using an SOS alert, when clicked he could see my location and it offers you directions to that area which is useful. I then went to cancel the alarm and this is where the problem began, everytime I tried to cancel my SOS alarm (on your phone it has an option to slide and cancel the alarm, so you don't always have to physically reset the device) it just seemed to freeze and was still alerting my Partners phone on the map that I needed help, I then physically reset the device by plugging it in and holding the button for 3 seconds and the lights stopped but it was still alerting and despite whatever I did, continued to until I physically remove my device from the app and then re-connected it, but then my Partner has to go through the process of becoming a protector again... so the app I find is a little clunky but it could be really good. I was also prompted to update my device on the app which stated it needed 40% battery to update but with no mention of how long it needed and no indicator on the device as to ho much battery in the first place, I left it on the update page for around 20 minutes, it just showed a wheel like it was doing something but I could not tell if it was updating or just frozen again, it really needs looking at and being more precise and less buggy.All in all very useful for tracking but if I can't cancel the SOS alert on the app without it freezing or see clearly the time indication of it updating or if it even is updating then it becomes frustrating to use, i'll continue to carry it with me as the location tracking is accurate but if they can take a look at this app it would be really grreat.

This is good for my daughter and myself. It's discreet and minimal so it doesn't look out of place or take up room and easy to carry around with you. Easy to set up and use... well, a little easier on iOS than Android, but it does work on both (family members having both that it's being used on). We like that this one does not give out a shrill noise - those alarms do absolutely have their place, but for our purpose this is better. It's more for peace of mind, when either of us are out running/hiking/cycling on our own in the early or late hours, helps alleviate worry. (I have the shrill personal alarms and am often snagging them on things and setting them off much to my fright and embarrassment!). I can see this being useful for my Mum too, either for her use as she has Parkinson's and my Dad could check where she is; or for my Mum to see where my Dad is when he's out and about so she doesn't worry. This is also great if you're prone to losing your keys (raises hand in embarrassment!), but if just for that it would be an expensive product! Do read the description and see if it's the product for you. For me, it's not cheap, but it's just right.

Wir haben es mehrfach nach den Beschreibungen vom Hersteller versucht mit dem Handy zu koppeln und es funktioniert nicht. Auch der Support hat bloß das gesagt was in der Beschreibung stand.Seit wir das Gerät zurückschicken wollten, kam keine Antwort mehr auf unsere Anfrage.Sehr enttäuschend.

I'm very disappointed with the equipment. I still having problems to maintained pair with my telephone and the alarms only work if the app at the Protectors telephone is active, so no emergency calls are possible unless you open the app and that is not the idea. I still trying to used it but i'm not shure that in the case of an emergency the equipment will work. very disappointment.
