Make me feel safer
Ordered these after a particularly bad fall figure skating - landing right on my coccyx. Couldn't get up or sit down, or even turn over in bed without being in quite a lot of pain for weeks, so I was conscious of that not happening again!I wondered if padded shorts were a thing and came across these. Rinks have obviously closed for the moment, and I haven't fallen again since I bought them, so I can't really attest how much they'd soften the blow of another fall. That said, they do feel pretty good! The padded bits do feel like they'd offer you quite a lot of safety. It's a velcro fastening too which I like.I wear them under joggers. They do, therefore, make your arse look huge, but I'm now of an age where I would prefer a pain-free body than looking nice on the rink!

Fantastic
Incredible. Saved my arse about a bazillion times when snowboarding. They hold farts, which is kinda gross, but also kinda cool. Treat it like an added bonus. I will never snowboard without this on my behind ever again.

Good protection
The protection is solid. I had a Burton version of these that I spent $150 on and I wish I had bought these instead as the padding and protection is way better than that and this is way more affordable. If you fall a lot it will protect you which is great for learning new tricks or falling on icy slopes. Only thing I didn't like is the size is quite small. I am a woman 5"4 130 lbs with an athletic build and the large can't even close around my waist. I wear it with the velcro unfastened and it stays put comfortably, but but keep in mind the small size when buying.

The pads are poorly positioned for inline skating
I tend to fall on the same spot on each of my upper thighs when aggressive inline skating. There’s is a gap between the pads exactly at that spot, so I still get bruises. They seem to do their job when falling straight on your bum. It’s more important to protect the tailbone but I had hoped to also reduce the amount of bruising on my thighs. I regret not getting a pair specifically designed for inline skating.I’m slim and normally wear small or medium shorts. I ordered these in L and they fit well but are quite tight around the waist.

Great product
Great acquisition. Super happy with it. It really protects my lower back and coccyx when I fall roller skating. It absorbs a lot the shock so I really feel protected and almost don’t feel pain after falling. Might not be the same for other but works really well for me.
