I have two large mix breed dogs, they’re rescues so I don’t know their mixes are but the oldest has long, floppy ears so he is prone to ear infections he also has some food allergies so he’s also more prone dirty/waxy ears in general. I had to take him to the vet frequently as puppy to get his ears cleaned or get medication for ear infections. We moved to a new city and got a new veterinarian when he was about two-three years old and that vet recommended and sold this ear cleaner at their office. Finding this product was a hallelujah moment for me. I had previously tried 3-4 different brands from pet stores like petco/petsmart and also tried what ever was a top reviewed, best seller on amazon with no luck. We’ve been using this ear cleaner exclusively ever since. He 8 now so it’s been 5-6 years and we haven’t had to take him to the vet for an ear infection once since using this product.This works for actual dirty ears too. Both of our dogs are very active, we take them out to the woods to run for a couple hours a few times a week and occasionally they’ll get in to some mud, or a dirty creek and this is good for cleaning both of their ears after that as well.

We have used AloeCleans (former name) for over a decade for all our dogs. It does a great job with even the dirtiest waxiest ears, as long as they are not infected. Since no dog really likes having something squirted in their ears, we apply to a cotton ball and clean while squeezing and massaging some into the canal. Our dogs think they are getting scratched until the very end - makes it go a lot easier.

My Vet suggested this product when not an infection - just itchy ears. Labs have a ear problems due to floppy ears and weather changes which creates some moisture = itchy ears. We’ve had very good luck with it.

This stuff cleared up our puppies ear issue with no vet visit. The vet actually recommended this brand. Our puppy kept shaking her head ... which turned out to be an ear infection. I applied the solution to a cotton ball (enough so some of the liquid would drip in her ear), gently swabbed the inside of the ear, and squeezed the cotton ball so some of the liquid would drop into her ear. She was fussy about the process. After about a week of doing this once or twice a day her ear cleared up and she stopped shaking her head.

This is a reorder. I have been using this product for about 8 years for my Dobie. This works great: infections or are smelly ears after using this product.
