Jazwares makes a worthless piece of scrap plastic, Bandai builds a new champion!
Bandai has always made better MegaMan toys, between the figurines, model kits and articulated figures, they've been the most faithful toy designers to ever touch the license (albeit the first line-up of Kotobukiya Models). For similar buyers who may be fans of the franchise, I'd consider myself that one special MMX fan in every four who's peddled out hours mastering the game, spending loads of childhood allowance on toys, and devoting an unhealthy amount of enthusiasm to keeping track of the old cartoon on Saturday morning's for the duration of my toddlerhood. Seeing the unspeakable, something too awesome to have been released by Jazwares in the US, I anticipated the release of MMX1 Full Armor X figure from day 1 (or maybe 6, hell you don't care). I'd previously bought the staple blue MegaMan X from D-arts, and even though it was a bit fragile and frustrating to keep in one piece, I'd never seen a better action figure in my life, let alone my favorite childhood video game icon. The expectations I had for this figure only slightly subsided before the release of Zero and the Exclusives (Manga X and Metallic X) who each suffered from loose legs and hands that break away easily. The issue, in fact, is not an issue at all. The figures are designed to break away and be shock resistant. The paint is strong, only chipping in nearly invisible spots. It turns out that the modifications for this version, the Full Armor X, include sturdier limbs and unique, never before seen remastering of the original X-game's Armor design. The figure seen alone, untouched, not removed from the box, it was something of a nostalgic dream. The figure's articulation is beyond question, and allows one to replicate the very flexible artwork as well as sprite poses in the game. The accessories are unique, awesome, but the stand included with the charge shot is stupidly tall and flimsy. That aside, the detail in the shots' plasma-like ripples is faithful to the very 16-bit art from which it was copied. This figure is MY FAVORITE PURCHASE EVER FROM AMAZON! I think that the release of this toy is a big deal, since it is the only direct toy reference to the first game ('cept for those Vile figures from JW). If you love the series to the point of searching for commemorative merchandise, this D-Arts figure is AMAZING, and even better than it's already wonderful predecessors from this line. I absolutely recommend this product, and plan on buying another before it's $100+!

The Best D-Arts Mega Man Figure Yet!
Upon purchasing this figure, I had already bought the previous two releases - Mega Man X DArts 5 Inch Action Figure Mega Man X and Bandai Zero 1st Version "Megaman X", D-Arts, so I knew pretty much what to expect. Visually, this figure is awesome. Using X1's Full Armor design with the more recent X4-forward's proportions, the figure is one of my favorite of X's Armors(Force and Falcon Armor were also great... maybe we'll see D-Arts of those in the future?). The white armor has a nice pearly look, the silver and gold trims are metallic paint, the forehead crest, buster tip, and foot boosters are translucent plastic. As far as accessories go, X comes with 2 sets of hands - closed and open, three face plates (normal, 'angry,' and 'fighting'), the exchangeable buster and buster tip, and two X-buster shots. The first is identical to regular X's - a three-shot burst which looks really nice as it's all connected and even twistable for a different look. The second is a massive charged shot - easily three times the size of either Regular X or Zero's charged shot accessory. It's bigger than a golf ball. Anyway, this one come with an accessory Regular X desperately needed - a mini display stand to hold up the charged shot! This makes displaying the accessory easy, visually impressive, and gives you no worry about X toppling over under his own accessories weight(this is an issue with the first X figure). As my title says, this is hands-down the best D-Arts figure for Mega Man we've seen so far, and I highly recommend it if you're looking into this line of collectibles. For those keeping up with Mega Man news, Vile[Vava] was just announced as the next to be made... Can't wait for that one, either! The figure seem to be getting better with each release!I will also upload an image of X, Full Armor X, and Zero 1st Version for comparison after submitting this review.

GREAT Figure Although not as good as regular X to me.
Very cool to have a figure of full armored X. Despite how much more of an upgrade this armor is there's just so much more to love about the regular figure over this one. Somehow X just looks a lot cooler to me withought the full armor. With this one, you get a charged shot and stand to hold it up which is a great touch though.

X gets his due. Again.
The next figure in this awesome series is X in his X1 armor. The sculpt is awesome, as usual, using the traditional SNES X1 design instead of the Maverick Hunter X one. The same double jointed knees and elbows, as well as ball jointed hands and feet make the articulation on this figure top-notch. Great extra hand and face parts, and one massive charged buster shot accessory (no, really--it's so big it comes with a stand to hold it up!). Also, his parts, as mentioned in my other reviews, are interchangeable with the other figures of this line.Awesome, awesome figure.

Wrong item
Item did not match the product being purchased. I wanted the full armor version of x and paid full price. What I got was standard armor (blue) x. I had to go to eBay to get the product I wanted... The seller was "my favorite things from Japan"

Rock Man X
I would never buy another import D-Arts figures after buying Rock Man X figures. For one this model the left boot was really loose that it could not stay on well. Second the level 2 charge shot should have been with the normal Mega Man X along with his level 1 charge shot, this should have came with the level 3 charge shot and it did not come with it. When I got the figure I presumed that it would have a yellow trim but instead it came with a gold trim which is a lot better.
