Very well made brackets. Exactly what I required. Reasonably priced. Came with all screws and plugs.

The brackets are of good quality. The folding mechanism works smoothly. I used them to make a shelf for an electric piano. To stop the mechanism from being engaged I placed a cable tie around each bracket to stop the lever from accidentally being lifted. The fact that the brackets are stainless steel is a real bonus, and I would say necessary considering that painted steel would be likely to abrade during folding and unfolding and eventually start to corrode.

I needed a way to extend a shelf for an exit feed on a table saw but still be collapsible. This work perfect for that need. I positioned these evenly behind a table saw cabinet and then hung a piece of melamine 24” wide x 36” long that was even with the table saw top. Now I can fold down when I don’t need. Got the 24” stainless steel and they seem to support the top with sheet goods being slid across the top just fine. I used the supplied Phillip screws to mount. They are a little tight getting your hand and driver in to tighten but they worked well. Priced right, worked well, and made this project a snap to complete.

Great for DIY shelving! With the unique removable diagonal support, it's much easier to work with. With other brackets, trying to drill screws in straight can be a pain, the support gets in the way. I'm making wall shelves using 8' 2x12 lumber. With two of these drilled into studs, I was able to sit my full 185 lbs on it with no issue. And the wood itself weighs 53 lbs so you're looking at close to 240 lbs, no problems. I intend to use this shelf for vinyl records which gets heavy, 100 records weighs about 50 lbs if I remember correctly. I intended to use 4 of these on four studs per shelf, but now I'm thinking 2 might just be sufficient as it seems rock solid. But I may do 4 anyway, as that would be completely impervious.Note: I strongly recommend using studs, not trying to hang shelves in just drywall, if there's going to be any weight at all. Also, I didn't use the included screws. I predrilled holes into the center of each stud using a drill (having carefully located the studs with a stud finder, and triple checked the marks), then drilled in self-tapping 2 1/2" #9 star drive screws I purchased separately from a hardware store. Please don't attempt to use Phillips head screws for a similar wood working project - they will want to strip, and you'll be pulling your hair out. I've learned doing my DIY projects that it's worth getting star drive/torx screws. Frankly, Phillips head screws should no longer exist. It's an inferior design, at least for woodworking, and very prone to stripping. Sure, if you pre-drill, are strong enough to keep the screw bit pressed tightly to the screw at all times, and know what you're doing, Phillips will work. But star drive and the like are just fundamentally superior for any project requiring larger/longer screws, and you truly get better results with much less struggle because the bit will tend to stay locked to the screw and not strip the crew, due to the design.Also, to me, these brackets look pretty good. I'll be ordering more to complete my other shelves
