The unflavored was closest to to the flavor of her previous formula and had the least amount of added sugar, which I liked. This always came very quickly, which I appreciate as this is my child’s main form of nutrition.

These have double the calories of normal pediasure and lower sugar. Great option for if you have a kid in the lower weight percentage that has GI issues. My kid has to take miralax every day to make sure he doesn't get backed up. This seems to be a little easier on his belly, but it's thicker than his normal pediaure. I started pouring into a cut and giving him half mixed with regular milk and stirring in the miralax (and doing the same for night without the miralax added). I like the lower sugar and high calories for my skinny picky eater with tummy issues. However....the price is INSANE. We could never afford to keep our kid on this. Hopefully those that absolutely need this one can get it covered by insurance. We'll continue to buy regular pediasure from costco when it goes on sale.

24 pack of Pediasure. Has all the vitamins and nutrients in one bottle- well balanced. Contains 6 ounces in each bottle. Has probiotics and no artificial growth hormones. Ingredient list looks good. The taste and texture are also good. Tastes like vanilla and has a smooth consistency- easy to drink. Overall- good quality.

I ordered these for my youngest as she has had some GI issues recently. They surprisingly taste great and are full of lots of goodness: prebiotics, antioxidants, vitamins C & E, and selenium, to support the immune system. They are great for a youngster to drink as is, and you can also use for tube feeding. It’s a win for us. They are just a bit pricey for a pack of 24, but if your child needs it, then it’s worth it for sure.

We have always trusted PediaSure. As you may know the company offers both a 1 Cal and 1.5 Cal version targeted to kids with GI conditions. The ingredients are on the lab oriented side so we first trust the recommendations of our pediatrician. Since formulas of this type are highly expensive and our kids certainly do have discerning tastes, we recommend seeing if you can try a smaller package first before committing to a case of 24.

My son has some digestion issues since birth and he also has a low BMI. He tried the regular version PediaSure shake and he did like those but still got gas problems. So I though PediaSure Peptide 1.5 Cal might be a better option for him. He seems like the flavor and drinks with no issues. There is a 1 Cal version which might be better for kids not that underweight. The price ($7 per bottle) is a lot higher than regular PediaSure drinks so make sure your LO really needs it otherwise it would be a waste of money.

My 4 yr old son does not having a feeding tube but due to his autism he has a very limited diet (6-8 foods he will eat and none are high calorie or nutrient dense). Along with vitamins he also drinks classic pediasure for a caloric and vitamin boost. He did NOT like the flavor of this. However, I found that if I mixed it with milk or water he would drink it. I asked his nutritionist about this product and she said if he will drink it than it’s a great way to get added calories/nutrition in him. It’s also much lower in sugar than the tradition version. I can see this being very beneficial for fd children. I do not see this product useful for most children as it’s specifically designed for very specific dietary needs. If your child has special needs then this might be a good option (if dr approved) for their dietary and weight maintenance needs.
