The Q5 pits out 9.5 psi, but the mini mite 4 puts out 9 psi. Is the .5 psi difference (and noise reduction) really worth the $574 difference?

Although the difference in psi is slight, it still allows for superior atomization, and faster application speed. Note that the Q5 is equipped with a variable speed control knob on the turbine to adjust air flow with greater accuracy; the Q4 is not equipped with this feature. Lastly, keep in mind that all Fuji Spray 5-stage systems are equipped with the bonus 5-for-5 accessory package which includes popular accessories such as a whip hose, a cleaning kit, and spare filter(s) to name a few.

Hoses use standard 3/4" garden hose thread fittings.

How water proof is the machine? Would it survive getting caught in a rain shower?

Although I haven’t been caught in a rainstorm yet, It seems really well sealed. If you get caught in a rainstorm I would just lean a small piece of plywood up against it because she’ll the water it’s a great sprayer!
