Peel-Tek Crafters Edition (120ml)

Masked the steering wheel emblem on my Honda so that I could airbrush it chrome again. Worked perfectly and was easily removed with a toothpick. Will use again.

Peel-Tek Crafter's Edition Masking Fluid is proving to be ideal for my needs. I build plastic scale model model cars and planes and needed a brushable masking medium for fine detail work, and that will stand up to various enamel and lacquer paint finishes. This product is just what I needed. It's easy to control as it's applied and the light blue color makes it easy to see where the masking is located. When removed, it comes off easily without causing damage to delicate underlying painted surfaces. Highly recommended!

Do not use on lacquer surfaces.. on a guitar, or automobile.. though water based latex it tends to dissolve and acar the lacquer finish; if for example masking around a ding in a nitrocellulose guitar finish, masking around the ding will leave a much wider scared area to repair/

I needed to repaint the emblems on my truck and Peel-Tek solved my problem of meticulously taping detailed areas. Protected the lettering and numbers with two coats of Peel-Tek. Used a primer and then an enamel paint for the project. Once the paint dried, I simply peeled off the areas treated with Peel-Tek by carefully using an exacto knife. Very pleased with the results, and I highly recommend Peel-Tek for your next detailed project.

This was not an easy product to apply and remove. Taping would've been easier and cleaner.
