I really like to see pictures of the food so I can decide if I want to make it and also to see what it's meant to look like. Quite disappointing. Probably go unused.Have ordered elsewhere.

If you are not familiar with this type of foods, do not get the book, not a single picture to show how the dish looks like. There are recipes for two types of bread, I can't tell which one I should try, I have no clue how this bread looks like.I contacted the author regarding the matter, their answer: It was really up to the publisher! I really wanted badly to return the book but felt so sorry for them, restaurant was closed at the time due to the pandemic. I thought I was supporting them.There recipes themselves are fine.

Excellent cookbook with great recipes! I've visited his restaurant in the city and it is hands down the best lebanese food in Manhattan. Recipes are well written and easy to follow; just wish there were more pictures included for a visual experience, but that doesn't take away from the quality of the recipes.
