There are a ton of reviews on the lens itself written by people who know lenses far better than I, all saying how great it is. So I'll leave that be, with the note that I agree its a great lens, and focus on the rest of the package. After all, you have several options to buy this lens, should you choose this one?The filter kit is perfect for most needs, I buy the same one separately for other lenses (in other sizes) so since this kit includes this and the lens for the same price you can get the lens itself elsewhere its already worth buying (unless someone else has a better kit).Many of us already have a pile of lens cloths and cleaners, These ones work too.For a mini tripod this one is pretty nice. Suitable to put on a table ad better than the old one I had. Though I rarely would ever use it. I either use a full tripod or none at all.But the backpack, it has me utterly confused. The lens in this kit doesnt even fit it it let alone with the camera body too. It can fit a camera body and the stock 28-70 lens and thats it. I don't understand what the point of including it was. I chose this kit over another because I thought the backpack would be a nice addition but alas it is worthless. Maybe I can get $5 for it on ebay...

The camera lens was excellent but the bag and accessories were cheap. Bag was small, I cant even put the lens and camera swcurely, tripod wont stand steady, cleaning items can be bought cheaper. i should have bought the lens only, i could heave saved more, instead of pating for these bag and other accessories that I am NOT able to use.

Awesome lens! Took it to Sanibel, FL, for birdwatching because I wanted to be able to catch birds in flight and it more than met my expectations. The continuous shoot mode is incredibly fast. Pictures can be enlarged and retain clear definition.

Wanted to buy a telescope lens since there are many birds flying around the house. Excited about this lens, sharp and auto focus is fast with A7ii.
