I use them to exfoliate my face! They do have some friction to them, but not so much that they are too rough for my skin. For copper cleaning?? Not sure, but I would think so.

Q: Is this for cleaning face?

These sponges are for cleaning tack (leather saddlery) and since I have been in the horse biz all my life, I am very familiar with them. I have also used them, for years now, for cleaning my face. I use my normal mild facial cleansing product on the little sponge and it doubles as a mild scrub. Love it!
