I have a really long shelf from ikea that I wanted to add a back-light too. I was in the market for long led strips as a kit instead of having to connect multiple strips. This kit came with everything I needed and more. The leds are very bright and have very good color accuracy. I've seen many cheap led kits that don't resemble colors properly but this is not the case at all!The remote has good range and allows for customization. It offers brightness selection along with 100s of color options by being able to change the RGB of the color. I am very pleased with this kit and recommend this to anyone who needs a good amount of led strip without having to connect multiple pieces. The adhesive on the strip is also very strong and consistent. This is a great all in one package.

The best part of this kit is the fact that you get 32' of lighting from one continuous strip of led's. This allows for very simple installation of lights for quite a large area. The 44 function remote also has DIY custom programmable options that I've not seen elsewhere, allowing for the user to create the perfect color lighting for their taste. The lights have a non-volatile memory and resume their last program after power cycling, and overall the kit just feels solid and well built to last.

I got these for my daughter and it brightens up her whole room. Looks like a night club thank Hod I didnt get the sould actived ones. If you put up in the house use the double sided tape that's clear and clean surface first the tape on the lights sucks. I also have them under my kitchen cabinets. Burns little to know electricity

Easy to use, easy to install, super cool, and super handy. What more could you want from a strip of RGB lights?The settings are awesome and the number of LEDs you get when you unpack it is deceiving. I thought I got sent the wrong size of the package when really they just stored them wound up. The back adhesive is pretty sticky but s0ometimes loses its grip in cold or hot conditions as any adhesive does. Other than that, they are aweomes and I would like a second strand!

These are too cool! I have been wanting some of these lights to go around the perimeter of my room and so glad I finally purchased them. Set up was easy and didn’t take no time at all. I absolutely love the remote and the ability to change the colors out for whatever mood I am in. The lights are bright when I want them bright and soft when I want them soft. I have been playing around with them this week since I got them. Lol. It never gets old. I especially liked how long they were. I am so happy with my purchase and am mostly likely buying more for Christmas decorations.

These are totally solid lights for the price. The remote comes with a ton of pre-programmed colors and effects, the lights are bright and vibrant, the strip is super long and can be cut to the length you need. That's pretty much everything I was hoping for these.I do have a couple minor gripes:1) the end that you plug in is at the bottom of the spool so you have to unwind the whole thing before you try running it. Minor inconvenience but still...2) the adhesive is terrible. you most likely will need to buy some other 2 sided tape to keep this up long term.

I do not recommend this.The transformer (black box) caught completely on fire, lit the power cord, and melted the white control box. Luckily we were home and the smoke detectors worked. I found her entire wall tapestry (like a curtain) completely engulfed in flames. I used my powder fire extinguisher. Called 911 and the fire department came too to verify it was all out and to air out the house.My daughter left these LEDs on continually for about 1 year in her room, which were mounted along her wall. The transformer also hung against the wall which is where the largest burn shows on the photo. Caused smoke damage to her bedroom and clothes. Had to get the wall and ceiling painted, and will replace the section of carpet that is hard & crunchy now where the burning tapestry fell on it.I question if this meets U.S. safety standards. If you're using it, be careful. Although I assumed it's okay to leave on all the time since they are LEDs, it might have overheated the transformer. My lessons learned: 1) never use unless at home and watching it, and 2) if the transformer gets too hot, stop using this.

Works better than expected. The remote you need to press the buttons hard but they offer a bunch of options. The kids love the den looking like a club
