Dilmah Exceptional Leaf Berry Sensation, 20 Tea Bags, 1.41-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 6)

These tea bags come from the island of Sri Lanka (formerly Ceylon ... hence ceylon tea). It takes anywhere from 4 to 6 weeks to arrive. However, after one cup, it will be your favorite tea from a tea bag. The smell of berries is very strong when you open the package. Also, any Dilmah tea that has the work Exceptional in its title is an indication that the tea bag is one of those pyramid translucent tea bags that allow the tea 'leaves' to expand.As you can tell, I like this tea. You are getting 6 - 20 count boxes or $6.75 each or .34 cents per tea bag.

It is a nice black tea but the berry flavor is bitter/sour. Too Bad. Maybe too much Currant Berry in the mix.

I admit I bought this because it was on sale (only $9 for 6 boxes!) and because I'd read generally positive reviews of Dilmah teas. It seemed worth trying, anyway. It's a pretty good tea with a generic fruity flavor to it that isn't identifiable as anything in particular -- the label says strawberry, blueberry, and raspberry flavors. I'm guessing it makes a good iced tea although I've only tried it hot so far. I'm sure I'll finish up the carton but probably won't re-order this since I really prefer my fruit teas with more distinctive flavors.

i love this tea! I first purchased it in Australia and I am so happy to have gotten it from Amazon.... However, the 6 boxes I received had an expiration date of 3 months from when I received them. I can't possibly drink 120 cups of this tea until then..that's more than one a day... I signed up on "auto deliver" for 6 months... so we will see what the next shipment brings... but LOVE this tea!!

Feel in love with this tea on a trip to Australlia one winter. Found it on Amazon when I got home, and have made it my regular blend now.

The tea bag has a very strong scent of berry, but the tea itself does not. That can be good or bad depending if you really like berry =P. I think it has just the right hint of berry. Overall, I am very pleased with the taste and the value.
