Does this mascara create "tubes" around your lashes??

Yes it does. The lashes are not burdened down by these tubes though --- they help to ensure that the mascara doesn't run (either from water or as a result of oily skin). It is really easy to remove -- just take some water between your thumb and index fingertips rub the lash a bit and gently pull off the 'tubes'. The mascara comes off sort of like a pencil eraser bits after erasing.
