No complaints ....yet :) *by E***A on Reviewed in the United States on June 15, 2016* Replacement was no issue for me. The keyboard replacement worked as expected :)Two things i did notice that isn't enough for me to take any stars, but id like buyers to be aware of are :1. The backlight did not get as bright as i remember seeing it. Now that could be any number of things. from improper reassembly, to the newer keyboard just not allowing as much light through, but its not that big of a deal, i don't need it to light up a room. I just need enough light to type in the dark. It does get bright, just not as much as i remember.2. the cable that connects to the logic board is straight as an arrow. It makes it difficult to connect it back to the logic board, but i would not recommend pre bending it to make it easier. It'll just take some patience and concentration to get it back in.a bit of advice for those amateurs such as myself, before removing the current keyboard, mark the holes on the new keyboard with a marker that the screws will be placed into. that way you place a screw exactly how it was on the original keyboard. :)Ill be sure to update with any failures ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars happy *by E***D on Reviewed in the United States on July 19, 2016* Works perfectly and fit almost perfectly after pushing one aluminum post through some thin plastic. No issues with (re-installed, old) backlight, might actually look a little brighter. The feel of the keys is a little "softer" - not sure if it's the texture of the plastic or the "click" but whatever it is, it's very minor and only barely noticeable side by side with an OEM keyboard. Hopefully it's durable, but as of day one I'd buy again.Time consuming but not a difficult job for someone with the right tools (recommend iFixit - don't try this with cheap driver bits) and experience taking apart laptops or mobile devices. PROTIP: attach some tape to the keyboard ribbon connector to grasp while sliding it into the slot, then remove tape. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Test before you install. *by M***K on Reviewed in the United States on June 10, 2016* First one I got the power switch did not work.
