I used 8 ft treated 2x4, wrapping them with this kit. Very pleased with how easy it was to put on and how great it works getting my kayak off and on my trailer.The product is rolled and stiff. I first stretched it out flat and put some weight on each end. I used a heatgun and ran it over the length a few times - carefully!
