Chick O Stick Nuggets Bite Size ~ 2 Lbs

They arrived well packaged and tasted o.k. not like I remembered ,a little soft not so crunchy like expected. But over all good.

My mother (age 85) absolutely loves these. She's pretty thin so I am hoping this is a sneaky way to get a pound or two on her. I had one. They are nice and fresh. They arrived packed in their own box. Inside that box were two plastic bags full of bite-sized Chick O Sticks. Enjoy them, Mom!

In gauging how much candy would be in a 2-lb bag, I envisioned a bag of sugar which is typically 4-lbs. (Though, like most of the people who seek out this candy, I remember when the standard size of sugar was 5 pounds.) Anyway, I thought that price was a tad high for what I expected to get but I wanted them badly enough to pay it. With daily temperatures near or over 100 degrees, there is not a large selection of candies that will survive being shipped this time of year. When the candy arrived, there was significantly more than what I had expected, which it a good thing. I think so anyway. Candy arrived fresh and in very good shape, for the most part. Every once in a while, one will be crumbly when unwrapped but I'd rather that be the case than nuggets that are sticky or stale. The mild coconut top note, followed by a lingering peanut buttery flavor is just as I recall from childhood.

I love me an accidentally vegan chick-o-stick, but this batch is inedible. I ordered online for a couple reasons, one being that I have a hard time finding them in person. This will be my last time though. They are a weird soft texture, a weird pale color, and taste like they were frozen for way too long. Bummer

I've always loved Chick O Sticks. They were one of my favorite candies as a kid--10-cents for a hand-sized stick at 7-11. The only brick and mortar stores that sell them these days are the overpriced nostalgia-item ones. I checked Amazon and found these nuggets!Bottom line: They are the real deal! Even after a binge, I find there are plenty left. They taste like I remember, and at this price nostalgia never seemed so reasonable.

I love Chick O Stick Nuggets and have purchased them from Amazon in the past. I was really looking forward to receiving them however they were all stale! The whole big bag! It was disappointing.
