Excellent
Replaced 3 Linksys mesh WiFi nodes with this system and the change has been simply fantastic. No lagging, no spooling, no drop outs, no week signal. Expensive but worth it.

Fantastic hardware. AWFUL Software - UPDATE
As is customary with Netgear, the hardware is excellent but the software is so bad that words fail me to describe it. If you buy this buy it for the WiFi performance and nothing else. The security services it offers over the top are overpriced and not much short of a total rip-off don't use them. Setting this up if you have a home network that is in anyway slightly abnormal, then it is a nightmare of pain and suffering to set up. However, once it is set up and working its great. So set it up and then never touch it again, BE VERY WARY of firmware updates that might force to to suffer the whole set up process again or worse screw up the functionality of the device.SUMMARY:Five stars for hardware. Loses 2 stars for terrible software and another star for the high price.Only buy if you are IT literate and can deal with Netgear's awful software and lack of support.UPDATE: DOWNGRADE TO ONE STAR. ACTUALLY IT SHOULD HAVE NEGATIVE 5 STARS IT IS SO BADDO NOT BUY THIS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. I have been fighting with this product for a week. I can only conclude that the product is defective. The satellites constantly drop the WIFI connection and none of the things (I have tried everything) will improve it. It just gets worse and worse. I am returning this for a full refund and will replace it with something else.UPDATE 2 - UNIT RETURNED TO AMAZON: Spent an hour on the phone with support. Support determined that the device I had was faulty so have returned it for a full refund. (fast and excellent service from Amazon on that front). I have ordered another one and will update again when I have tried to install it. so for now keeping one star because I am not convinced that this is not a design flaw and that the next product I have wont have exactly the same issues.UPDATE 3 - 2ND UNIT JUST AS BAD AS THE FIRST. I bought a new unit and had all of the same problems. There is clearly a design decision Netgear made or a bug it has not found that prevents the Orbi from working with my main router. It is completely unusable. I use a linksys 3200acm as my main router. I am going to try the TP-LInk Decox60 instead which costs half as much and I expect will probably work 1000x better. The odd thing is that my old Orbi RBR50 worked perfectly but for some reason Netgear has totally screwed up the RBR850 and made it unusable. AVOID at all costs.

Basic feature is for additional cost
It works for the basic requirement but I have to pay to obtain the security protection!!! Which comes free with other brandsOne would think he would get something special for the high price tag. But one is mistaken

Good but not perfect
If you will use the 2 satellites with the router wirelessly, all will be good. If u want to add more satellites to that setup, good luck with that. I wish i would never upgraded from wifi5 orbi to 6, however the speed is very good if the satellites works over 5GZ connection with router, worth to mention that wired satellites will be out of syn and will never works. Unless u are a geek, dont add more satellites than 2

Doesn’t work with IoT
It doesn’t connect with IoT smart devices (plugs) that requires 2.4gz connection. Returned it

Prodotti eccezionali

Youpiiiiiiiii

Best on the market
I upgraded my home broadband to FTTP on a 500MB/sec package as both me and my wife work from home and we have a teenage son who is very in to his tech and streams movies and game content. The broadband company provided a router that was the same as they give for their standard broadband package - and couldn't cope with the speed nor give enough coverages for my 5 bed house. They then sent wifi discs, also not designed for the speed so whilst I got the wifi coverage, I simply got guaranteed slow speeds.I then invested in a mesh system with a different brand (not Netgear) and I had to spend over 10 hours with their tech support just to try and get it to work as a mesh, but again I only got max 50% of my max speed and their tech team never got the issues resolved. They even left me with it not working, without turning up to planned support call sessions, for nearly two months.I then did what I should have done in the first place and bought the Orbi. Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful. Worked straight out of the box, looks cool, and runs blisteringly fast across all my devices. I get 450MB/sec wirelessly in my study and no less than 250MB/sec across my whole house and that is with just using 2 out of the 3 nodes (both of which are based downstairs). Downstairs nothing runs slower than 300MB/Sec. They look good, they are unobtrusive and run like a dream. They even support guest Wi-Fi which is great, something the first mesh I bought did not offer. So - yes expensive. You probably only need the two node set-up in most standard houses in the UK - but if you live in anything larger than 5000sq ft then just bite the bullet and get the 3 node system. It's not about the price, it's about the value and the fact I did not have to have a single call with any tech support teams and my time is way much more important to me than the few hundred pounds. If you are sitting on the fence - just go with the Orbi!

Endlich stabiles Wifi in allen Zimmern
Klare Kaufempfehlung!

servizio eccellente con qualche neo
By Gabriele LEONIInstallazione con app Orbi senza problemi.
