Excellent
This product was easy to set up. It purrs like a kitten hardly any noise. I’ve had it 2 days and I love it. An alternative method for exercise during the colder months and also to strengthen up the knee muscles.

Perfect, does the job perfectly.
Well made, solid construction yet very easy to move and carry. Does not slip when used like other models. Cannot fault it. Comfortable and easy to use from my armchair.

My Goal: get rid of that awful dead circulation and sluggish feeling all over from sitting.
I’m home now all the time. Even walking around periodically, did not take away this muscle laxity and weirdness I feel, mostly sitting. Once a day I use a terrific eclipse for 30 min. With a weight vest. It does not do what this very easy to assemble mini cycle does in terms of gentle total chi moving around the body feeling. I’m quiet surprised. Very happy with this. You won’t be disappointed. I have very bad knees and can adjust my sitting position to have no pain but still pedal as hard as I like. There is enough resistance to get me out of breath, which I didn’t expect at all.My experience: After just a few gentle minutes on this thing, I noticed my core was really exercised. In a comfortable but straight back chair, peddling about three minutes at an easy pace, I had a light sweat. I don’t even get that from walking, ever, unless it’s hot outside. I noticed my hands and arms tingled andI felt circulation all over; calves included. My thighs were working. Something I just don’t get in a chair all day long, even lifting my legs up and down for circulation. To husband; hands off my little bike. You said you didn’t want it. IT’s mine. I have atrial fib and am on a light dose of blood thinner. I was really beginning to worry with this “stay at home” order. I’ve read it is not enough to sit most of the day and exercise even once for an hour. Moving is essential to keep the arteries pliable, with a good diet as well. How it feels; only a few minutes on this, I’m going to bed for the first time in weeks, without that weird itchy feeling in my muscles, as if I need a massage or I just haven’t had a good day of lots of moving around. My chi feels like it’s really circulating throughout my whole body. Feet, upper arms, back etc. Maybe it’s just me but in my distant past, I did martial arts, ballet. I know what good after exercise feels like. Physically, frankly, it’s a relief to feel my body is getting fed by moving the blood around. A half hour “after” I used this for about ten gentle easy minutes, I feel this relief physically....like I took a great walk and really got my circulation going. My core feels like it did most of the work in a very gentle way....this was exactly my goal. How I’ll use it; I intend to use it while listening to news, desk work. Feeling sluggish or needing to get my body moving. Surprised by this. I’ll be using this periodically during the day, while using my iPad especially, to stop sitting while I do that for long periods of time. Scary to think of not moving for months during this “stay at home.” This will prevent long term decline for sure.Assembly; never used a tool supplied but probably will tighten things up a bit. It feels so sturdy. Stable. Yet very light. Easily carried from room to room. I could not be more pleased. Completely quiet! Small looking actually but solid looking as well. Very few parts, smooth and easy to unscrew the 4 bolts, stick them in and it’s done. Put 2 pedals on...done.

Turned my sedentary habits into a light workout.
Being overweight with a weak knee, I wanted a recumbent bike to help me lose some pounds before I got to more demanding workouts. Then I thought I'd give this a try instead since I get to do the same biking excercise while sitting in my own comfortable chair. Glad I gave it a try!It feels like fast-walking. Normally, I do 1-3 hours a day, usually while watching TV or browsing the web. After a week, I lost ~8 pounds, which I know is mostly water-weight, but more importantly I could feel the strengthening of muscles around my knees and hip, particularly in my quads and hamstrings. The upper body will remain fairly unengaged though, so you might consider lifting a couple of dumbbells to augment your biking (keep your back straight though), or dedicate 5 minutes of sit-ups/crunches/leg raises after.Had it for over a month now. Very even and smooth rotation, and reasonably quite. Even at the highest resistance level, I could barely hear it over my PC fans. Like others have said; it's perfectly easy to just put your feet on it and start pedaling without the straps. At ~22 lbs, the minibike is hefty but not too heavy to carry around. It's like a backpack full of books. The built-in handle makes it effortless to move around, while the flat weighty rubber bottoms helps the unit remain in place while you bike away. I had it on carpet; not sure how well it would stick on wooden or tiled floors. The single-button battery-powered display is fairly basic, with no bluetooth or "smart" capabliities. Just your average distance/calories/time counters (which is all I need, really). It only turns on when you start pedaling or press the button. Calorie counters in any excerciser are generally inaccurate, but I use it as a rough estimate of my workout intesity (e.g. I get roughly the same calorie count from 1 hour at resistance level 5 vs. 3 hours at level 1). At the end of the day, I note down the numbers into a spreadsheet; then hold the button to reset the counters to zero, ready for the next day. Except for the Odometer, which continues to accumulate your overall distance.Caveat: There wasn't enough space for me to pedal the bike under my desk. To fit it under your desk you'll need a clearing of: 35cm (highest point of the pedal from the ground) + the length from the bottom of your heel to the top of your knee + a buffer of few centimeters to avoid hitting your desk. If this won't fit and it's important for you to have it under your desk, then I would recommend lookin up "desk mini cycle", and you'll be presented with various alternatives in the market with lower pedaling profiles. I personally don't prefer the shorter bikes because they tend to have a pedaling radius that is too small for me.

This is better than the one in outpatient rehab!! It provides a great way to warm up my shoulder. Pedals backward smoothly too!
Who says you can't get therapy at home?!? I got it to help regain movement and recover from a frozen shoulder following partial paralysis from a stroke. It was easy to set up with minimal assembly required. It works very smoothly and is pretty quiet. It has a large handle on top that makes it easy to move from one place to another.I experimented with the resistance and decided to use the medium resistance. There is a wide range of resistance to choose from, you just turn the knob to select your choice.Given that I need this to work on my shoulder, I tried using it on the table while I sat in a chair. While that worked ok, the pedal exerciser was just a little bit light and wanted to shift a little (see, I am making progress!) so I put a couple of pieces of Dycem matting under the back 2 corners and that stopped the pedal exerciser from shifting. I decided to try a different approach. I put the pedal exerciser on the kitchen countertop and stood up to use it. BINGO!!! The combination of standing up and having the back of the pedal exerciser having something to be able to be up against (if necessary) is the perfect solution. And pedaling backward is just as smooth as pedaling forward!! Pedaling backward is really important if you need to work your arms. The display is very easy to read to let me know when I've reached my goal (I choose to go by minutes because that's what my therapist likes but there are multiple choices). This thing is better than the one in outpatient rehab!! It provides a great way to warm up my shoulder before beginning my other routine at home. I confess I originally wanted to buy a cheaper pedal exerciser...no frills...why would I possibly need any extras?! I am very glad I let myself be convinced by a family member to give this pedal exerciser a shot. I like it so much that even though I just got it, I am already using it more than once a day!! I hope to be using this for at least the next year and a half as I continue my recovery.

Pretty good product if you customize the workout environment
The bike assembled quite easily. In terms of ergonomics, I am 6 feet tall and 210, with very long legs, so I can't use this under a desk or table, but smaller people might be able to. That said, I got good range of motion and overall like the feeling of pedaling on it.One issue is that it's not very sturdy and so you need to set up your workout environment carefully. I had to put my chair up against a wall, since otherwise the chair would push backwards from the pedaling. Once I did that, the problem became that the bike's base would wobble side to side. Fixed that by putting it on a yoga may folded in half, then added a 20-lb sack of flour for extra stability as a pedal. Now it's easy to pedal for a long time in a stable manner. But if I hadn't been able to put my chair against a wall, and to arrange the rest of the workout surface, this thing would have been useless.
