Q: will these fit an adult with thin hair?

Yes.. I bought for my 8 y/o daughter.. and they also fit my adult head..with normal amount of hair..

Yes they are all the same size. But these basic fabric headbands not only for little girls, but also can be used for adults!

Q: Is this suitable for an adult?

Probably. I’ve tried it on and fits. Purchased for 3 year old granddaughter. It is a thin band, about 1/4 - 3/8” wide. The assortment is vast and I don’t worry is one goes missing.
