FGO Organic Ashwagandha Root Powder, Sourced from India, 4oz (Pack of 1)

Great product

I have a dog that is sensitive to noises and has anxiety because of it. So, after googling some alternative remedies, Ashwagandha came up as an option. I gave her the dosage recommended online. She is a 40lb terrier so I gave her about 1000 mg to start with her breakfast. (500mg-1500mg twice daily is the recommended dosage for her weight). You want to work up to this dosage and not start them out right away with the full amount. I wanted to see if there was any difference before I gave her the full dose. This herbs properties is supposed to slow heart rates. So, I was being cautious. Anyways, I noticed no difference in her ability to deal with noise triggers. The herb is pretty terrible tasting and I started to feel bad about ruining her food with the taste and smell of this herb. I cook for my dog so, you really notice it. Anyways, it may work for some dogs and not others so, still... it's worth a try...

I take this along with a pre workout for profound mental focus & clarity during workouts.

Organic Ashwagandha came packaged well and the product is clean and smells fresh. The seller has emailed to check if there were any questions or problems--nice. I take this once a day, before bed, 1/2 tsp. in a cup of warm water with a little ghee. Can be used with milk or smoothies also. The taste is a little bitter and "earthy" but the benefits have outweighed that. I am pairing this with Brami Powder that I take 2 x's a day. My anxiety has dropped to near zero and I have slept through the night numerous times. I have been taking this for about 2 weeks. There seemed to be a couple of days adjusting to it. Sort of my body not knowing what to do with feeling more calm. For now couldn't be happier with this product and very fortunate that Amazon carries these quality products that are not easy to find and at such great prices.

I have a stressful life, which includes having a full time job, having classes and running an online store. At times I would have strong migraines and feel like I am going to break down some days due to the amount of work presented. I have been using the product for a few days right now. I can't tell if it is a placebo effect , but my migraines have faded away and I feel relieved after drinking it. It is not the greatest tasting product, obviously I expected that. I usually drink it with lemon water or with tea and agave. Even though it doesn't taste great I feel like it accomplishes the benefits it supplies. I am a dietitian, so I like viewing new products, but I do recommend this product for people who have a lot of stress on their shoulders.

Good taste, good results mentally and physically. I was taking Tribe Organics Full-Spectrum KSM-66 Organic Ashwagandha Root Powder Extract. It was too strong for me, I felt zoned out, unmotivated and couldn't sleep, even after cutting the dose in half. With herbs, more and/or stronger is not necessarily better. I decided to try a plain root powder, not extract and not standardized. I like this FGO product a lot. I felt it within 10' of drinking it. Used 1/2 tsp to 1/2 cup of milk warmed up on the stove until it desolved then added a little cardamum power. I feel good, not buzzed or washed out. I am older and post menopause, which is why I started it to begin with. Definitely mitigated my symptoms in a very positive way.

I’ve been using this for 2 weeks and I just started to notice a difference. I feel great! I have an overall sense of joy and clarity. I have been taking this along with passion flower so I’m not sure if that is also contributing. I drink it at night with my herbs and herbal teas. I put a lot of stuff in my nightly concoction so the taste is already earthy and not great. I don’t mind though. Taste does not matter if you are reaping many benefits. Also, my zip lock works. I tore it open at the very top and have had no problems with the packaging.

This is my second batch of this brand of ashwaganda powder. I’m a high energy teacher and it really helps calm me when I take 2 tsps in my yogurt before bed. No hangover feeling the next morning and in fact, I feel energized when I wake up. I’ve looked around and cannot find this potency anywhere else. Way better than taking tablets or capsules - I’ve tried all forms and this is still the best. It has a really strong and bitter taste but you do actually get used to it after about a week of taking it every day. Great stuff!
