Originally I didn't like this charcoal. I'd bought it for lighting incense and lighting the charcoal seemed very difficult. I'd light the charcoal and little puffs of explosive would start crackling all over, blow out my lighter, and the charcoal itself didn't seem to light. I was wrong.This charcoal lights easily and quickly, that's what all the little popping is about. The charcoal is embedded with what appears to be threads of gunpowder. You get any one of those going and they'll get the whole circle lit and glowing within a minute or two. I'm not sure I'd want to smoke the result - says its for hookahs - but its great for incense.Important proviso: you will want to have a metal clamp/tongs holding the charcoal when you light it. Those little explosions will burn your fingers otherwise.

This is the worst company i have ever dealt with, i bet there products are cheap and not worth it..i do not recommend working with this company or buying anything off of this company your best bet is to run and buy a little cheaper or more expensive i would rather spend more money not to ever have have to deal with them again.
