Not Worth the Purchase
There are pros and cons for this item, so it depends what you're looking for. I wanted to test the features in the flashlight. For example, it claims to be "superbright". It turns out that it is. There are no issues with the brightness as long as you have a good charge. It has the 5 modes as described and does narrow the beam down nicely. I have definitely not tested is it's waterproof, however. I also wanted to test how good the flashlight is when recharged. I charged the battery with the included adapter (I couldn't find an extra one to purchase, so I may be out of luck when it breaks as it is a bit flimsy) and the charge held well. I tried to test the charge via the USB port, but the model that was sent is not the one pictured so it did not include a USB port at all so I was not able to test that feature. The main issue now is that without an extra adapter to buy and no USB port, the flashlight will only be as good as the flimsy adapter lasts.

Solid Flashlights
These are heavy duty solid flashlights. I think they are carved from aluminum. The come with a plastic battery holder that lets you use 3AAA batteries, or you can use the included heavy duty rechargeable battery. I forget the size number, but I have several of them for my other rechargeable flashlights. The only thing is I can charge the battery inside of these flashlights, where I can not with my other flashlights. The end is a push pull type focus, so you can have wide or narrow beam. I thought you had to turn it, and I was not getting anywhere. The two small things that could be improved. The rubber flap covering the charge hole, doesn't stay in place. The other thing is that the flash lights came in cool looking boxes, but most of the clips fell off. I purchased flashlights and not boxes, so it doesn't matter to me.

Very bright but not especially well designed or built, but even so a very good value
Pros, very bright, well built for the money, (lets face it, it's cheap compared to similarly bright competition). You can use it with 18650 batteries, but they don't last very long. It also came with a AAA adapter, and that life is by far the shortest but it works.Cons, like any similarly bright flashlight, with small batteries, the battery life is short and it's not built as well as similar ones that cost 2-8 times more. The 26650 batteries are very expensive and hard to find. It's a little too big to fit easily in my pocket but nothing that powerful is. The lens is very prominent and plastic, easy to damage. If you accidentally get it pointed in your eyes on the tight focus mode, it's not fun because it's that bright.First impression, looks good, and wow, it's very bright for it's size.Close look, the parts inside the flashlight head where there should be a reflector, are all black just like the outside of the flashlight. Instead of reflecting out all the light that hits those parts, it absorbs them. The problem is the worst when the head is extended for a narrow beam, where 20 to 50% of the light is probably absorbed by the inside of the tube. Even still, it's bright. I'd be willing to pay extra for a version that has a reflective surface on that part.Perfect for me, cheap and very bright with enough light to light up a yard across any residential street. I walk a lot at night and am occasionally bothered by dogs, and skunks. Both don't like the strobe and that's exactly why I wanted a bright flashlight with a strobe. Dogs don't want to look at it when they get close, and skunks scurry the other way without spraying. I have never used it more than about 15 minutes during a walk and the 26650 battery seems to give me way more than that on high. I'm sure it's life is much better on low. I thought I'd like the push button switch on the side, but it's not always easy to find when I grab it out of my pocket quickly. A tail switch isn't any harder to use, but I always know where it is.If it completely dies in a year, I'll buy another just like it and feel good. It's not the best flashlight that size, but it may be the best for the money. You can spend over $100 on better ones, and not see any better at night.

Amazing kit for the price
I chose this kit because they came with the larger rechargeable battery which outputs more power than the 3 AAA batteries. After the initial charging, I've had these placed around the house, and use them occasionally (looking under the couch for the pet toy, going into crawl space, checking out noises in the yard at night etc.. The rechargeable batteries have held their charge for 8 months and still seem to be pushing full power brightness when i need to use them.PROS:+ Comes with the rechargeable batteries, one for each flashlight.+ Battery holder insert included if you need to use it immediately and can't wait for a charge (Rechargeable battery is not a standard size as other batteries).+ Battery life: purchased in Feb 2020. Mild occasional use, batteries still on original Feb charge and it's almost the end of October.+ Perfect size. its not quite pocket size but it's not a giant flashlight either. Similar size to a personal Maglite.+ It came in a protective box with foam, felt like a gun case. While the box is completely unnecessary, you might find other uses for it.CONS:- At the price-point I paid ($20 for 3 flashlights, 3 batteries, + accessories) I'm finding it difficult to fault any of it.

Can't beat this deal !
My best friend bought one of these lights when they first came out 15 years ago.His house caught fire during the night November 11th and died. I found his old light in the rubble, the batteries had exploded, button was melted and lens cWouldn't clean up. I tried finding a replacement lens but then it dawned on me to just buy a light and Rob it of its lens.Through trial and error I realized just because it looks exactly like this light doesn't mean it is. First two I ordered you couldn't remove the lens because the tube was all one piece, not having a threaded lens cap.I noticed in the pictures this one is like the originals.Everything worked out great, the plastic storage case is worth $5 alone Nother to mention 3 lights, 3 rechargeable batteries, 3 belt holders and a charger for under $20.00Take my money!
