Gator 2020 New J& J Instroke Vinyl Leather Cue Cases 2x4 Holds 2 Butts and 4 shafts

I liked everything about this case, it fits two butts and four shafts and has a spring mechanism which is an added plus so you never have to fish around for your butt or shaft. It’s very nifty and in addition it’s tall enough even if you have a 60 inch stick and joint protectors. The zippers work very easily and because of the way the strap is made with a cushion it’s very comfortable and doesn’t feel that heavy and I can say this as a woman who is 5 feet 2 inches. It was very comfortable to schlep around. It seems very durable although I am very easy on my stuff, and let’s face it nothing lasts forever. It’s very fashion forward with a color block kinda Star Trek vibe design going on and definitely a stand out. As far as value for the money it’s outstanding. The case also came with a Champion pool glove which I gave to my billiard buddy. Even the glove was awesome.

I bought this case because my 30 year old Instroke case started to fall apart. I was skeptical about the case because of the low price in comparison with other big name cue cases. My must haves were a tube-type holder for the butts and shafts, and a top that isn't a zipper because they tend to wear out. This one fit the description, the top of the case opens by twisting the brass clip and just folds upward. The insides of the case are spring loaded tubes, but they didn't have any padding inside like the Instroke case I had. These were more hard plastic tubes, but my cues still fit great and are safe from damage. The springs push them up a little higher to make them easier to remove. We will see how they wear over time. The outside looks great, the handles and straps are pretty good quality and hopefully are durable. The handles are rubberized and pretty comfortable to hold. There is also a shoulder strap that is padded and adjustable on the back of the case. The outer pocket is huge and has storage for a jump butt, and any other small items in the little net pockets. I can fit a ton of stuff in that pocket and still have plenty of empty space for extra things. Overall I would give it a 5* rating, hopefully it holds up over time and is durable.

I love this case. The picture doesn’t do it justice. It just came today so I can’t speak on the durability but it’s a nice upgrade from my 2x2 Athena case and at a reasonable price too. I gave it 4 stars because even though it has a zippered sleeve in the pocket for the butt of my jump cue, it was about 1 inch too small to actually hole the butt of the jump cue. Other than that I love the multiple pockets inside the large pocket. I recommend this product. It even showed up a week earlier than they said it would.

Loved this case back when I played pool. Everything I needed when I was getting more serious. I dont play much at all anymore, but if you're looking for a great case this is it.

Case is pretty decent. Seems pretty sturdy. Only reason I gave mine 4 stars is because the leather has crease lines on the grey part above the pocket. You can see it in the picture if you look close enough. Other than that, pretty decent case.

Love the strong material and construction. The bag stands up on its own too!
