Very loud.
150 db....I do not know, however, when I got them all hooked up (got the 2 pack) and tested, the wife was in the house of our attached garage, and she about jumped out of her skin. Installed on a 2004 Silverado. I have no doubt that I will get the attention of the xxxx's that cut me off while I am pulling my trailer now!!! Way louder than stock. I did build a nice bracket for them to mount to that sits behind the bumper.

Loud
Great horn, loud, EZ to install and great price. When I blast the horn, every vehicle freezes. Everyone clears the way and no one opens their car door into traffic.

FARBIN Air Horn for Truck
so far I am happy with it, its not too loud but it sounds like a truck horn instead of an icecream cart. The black wire was a little short so I dropped a star but besides that fits like a glove in stock location and super easy to hook up

A safety upgrade...I added this and another type to stock horns for awesome effect!
Read on for some tips and ideas for installation... Not much to complain about here! I have three of these in service in my vehicles and am very pleased. Much louder than any stock horn. Consider this a small investment in safety. You can find "Y" adapters for the power hookup on Amazon for your specific vehicle brand, so installation is pretty much plug and play. On my 2019 RAV4 I simply moved one of the two factory horns and combined them on one mounting bracket, then installed this on the empty bracket and wired them up. The difference is major. For the electrically savvy, you may want to consider my installation method: I power the relay for the thing from the accessory buss (the accessory wire that is only on when the car is on or you have the key in "acc" mode), that way this really loud horn only works when the car is ON. Why, you ask, is this important? Because when the car security alarm decides to go off at two in the A.M., you might be happier if the trumpet of God isn't blowing outside your bedroom window. I also put a switch on that wire just because I could, but I almost never turn it off, unless I'm outside someone's house and just want to make a quick "toot" without scaring the neighborhood. Combine this with a set of Wolo "Long Horns" (I've done it) and you get some serious scary noise! UPDATE: I recently added another set of these horns to a vehicle, this time I added one of these and a Farbin "Raging bull sound horn", ASIN number B08L9G7BNL, Farbin part number FB-NJ. The sound is quite impressive. Let me state at the outset, that you will not necessarily be impressed with the bull horn on its own, but COUPLED with this air horn and the factory horns on the GM vehicle I worked on, the tri-tone sound (it tends to get humans attention lol) is VERY train-like. I used 14 Guage wire to supply power and an equally heavy wire to ground. If you're willing to do the extra work for the customization, the effect is very rewarding. I won't go into the details, but let me assure you I have NO PROBLEM getting people's UNDIVIDED ATTENTION when I hit the horn button now.

Wont last 3 years
High pitched, fairly loud. Makes you smile. Didnt last 3 years. Chinese junk. Since when do you have to buy a new horn for your vehicle every 3 years. The first one lasted 46 years.

Good quality, it's worth it
After i showed it to the mechanic, he told me its above limit for a small car, but still legal in the country, its designed for pick up trucks and heavy vehicles, he pointed the horn downward so its less loud than usual, however it sounds Amazing, definitely its worth every penny

Info is misleading
The specifications on this horn is not accurate It claims to be 150 decibels I bought three of them On the outside of the package it clearly shows each horn is 125 decibels And as for it sounding like a train horn no it does not sound like a train horn.

As good as Chinese junk gets
It’s hard for me to believe in 2023 that we still don’t have a way to get English words properly written on Chinese goods. Lol. This one they can’t even manage to spell the company name correctly on two sides of the box. It’s either Fabin or Farbin, you get to choose. I have bought six of these now over the years from various manufacturers, all built identically with different labeling and packaging. This one appears to be just as good, I bought it to fit on my new motorcycle with a wimpy beep beep horn. Tested it out on a battery it’s super loud. I assume it’s not 150db as they claim but it’s way louder than the stock horn on my truck and 10x louder than the one came with my bike. I’d buy a $100 one made in America if I could, but these seem to hold up and work as well as expected for the price. The one on my truck has ridden high on the radiator face for about 6 years now so it gets wet but not submerged. Still going strong. Keep the horn funnel facing down so any water that does get in drains back out, the relay and wiring is not waterproof so I used a better quality relay and glooped some waterproof dielectric grease in the fittings once i have everything wired up correctly and installed for the last time. Keep in mind the horn is pretty big and heavy so you need to mount it to something solid. I use big zip ties to strap the round motor half to a piece of solid framing, rather than rely on the one bolt thru pot metal aluminum like they provide. Buy it, use it, enjoy scaring people. Two thumbs up
