Heavy duty, nearly indestructible, protection for sensitive electromechanical equipment.
Pelican cases are heavy, large, air-tight, and durable to the extreme. Suffice to say they need an air release valve so that if they are closed in the mountains one can open them at sea level! The handles, wheels, and latches are dust and moisture resistant. I have stored sensitive electromechanical equipment in these cases as I have transported them into and from field environments in just about all weather conditions you can imagine. I am of the opinion that the luggage used by Joe in "Joe Versus the Volcano" must have been made by Pelican!

Very nice large case
Received it today. As with all pelican products appears solid and well constructed. Potential buyers should research and understand the sizes of these cases. The 1630 is a huge case and some may find a little heavy. The handle and wheel system appear to be well designed along with handles on both sides so that two people can carry if loaded down. Very nice LARGE case.
