Red Rice Yeast with CoQ10

First I want to say that I'm not a doctor. I purchased this because my brother and I were trying to find something natural to take to help lower our cholesterol. He purchased his first, took it for three months and his cholesterol went from 260 down to 203. So I thought ok I will try it. I took it for two months and my cholesterol went from 263 down to 230. We didn't experience any side effects.

If it wasn't for researching this product, and taking a chance on it to reduce my cholesterol levels, my doctor was going to put me on statin drugs, ie. Lipitor. I starting taking it twice a day in the beginning, and in just 3 months my cholesterol levels went from 235 to 176! I didn't change my diet and continued to take 2 red yeast rice supplements a day and had the amazing results with no side effects to boot!

I started to take Red Yeast Rice because my doctor (an integrative health doctor) recommended it for lowering my cholesterol levels (I did not want to take regular cholesterol medicines). She also recommended this brand because it contains CoQ10. After 3 or 4 months using them in combination with Omega 3 fish oil, I retested my cholesterol levels and they had gone down 50 points! I must say that I also exercised on a regular basis (3 mile walk 5 times a week) and tried to watch my diet.If you are the type of person who prefers to try the natural stuff before going to the traditional drug industry (like me) Salary Red Yeast Rice is worth trying. I just gave it 4 stars because it is a little bit too pricey for me, but I am still willing to spend my money on natural products....

Last annual physical came back with elevated cholesterol levels (curse you pandemic, curse you getting old!) My doctor is a firm believer in wholeistic health, so diet, exercise, and instead of statins, Red Rice Yeast twice a day.In the world of "nutraseudicals" the cost per dose is reasonable. The capsules are easy to swallow. There is no appreciable flavor.I'm looking forward to my next blood test and expecting improved results.

My bad cholesterol level was 244 in September 2021. My doctor recommended I try red yeast rice before taking a statin. Just rechecked & cholesterol dropped to 219, so 25 points in 6 months. I will keep taking this to see if it drops more. I have had no side effects.
