Living in Alaska, our upright freezer is loaded with both our local catches and with "volume buys" from our nearest Costco, a 4.5 hour drive each way in best conditions. So yes, volume buys.What can happen is that the usual flat, open-faced upright freezer shelves get piled so high that they present an "avalanche hazard"; the piles are just waiting the wrong move for them to fall on your feet. My most recent close call was when a 6 pound leg of lamb on the top shelf did fall and missed my foot by millimeters (in Alaska we remove our shoes in our homes). I would now be sporting a cast and crutch had it landed on my foot.But by golly my previous order of these baskets was on my porch a couple of days later.These baskets have allowed me to fully reorganize my freezer, not only for visibility and usefulness, but also yes, for safety. And greater effective volume. Two baskets fit nicely on each shelf but the height of each basket effectively increases the useful height of the shelf.I think I made my point. Highly recommended!

Works great for keeping things organized in our small freezer. Much easier than having to dig when looking for something in particular, we can sort by specialty and remove an entire basket if needed to get to things in the bottom.

These baskets are a perfect fit, two of them, side by side on the top shelf of our freezer. We've had them for a few months and they still look like new. Sturdy and beautiful. Perfect size for baggies filled with frozen rice balls (single servings to re-heat). Also perfect size for many frozen food boxes.

The baskets fit perfect in my freezer, however, I wish the height was about 2 inches taller.

These wire baskets are sturdy and fit perfectly in my upright refrigerator/ freezer. I buy in bulk and vacuum pack meat. These are great for organizing and they prevent items from falling out of the freezer. It’s nice to have breakfast items and dinner items sorted in baskets. Good price for quality baskets!

Perfect size to organize the freezer. Strong white wire baskets holds plenty of food. Two fit nicely across the bottom of my freezer. Measure first to make sure they fit your freezer.

These worked in a side by side AND the bottom freezer section of a french door. Make sure to measure so you are getting optimal use of the space. Was able to stack things so they stood upright in here making it as easy as browsing through a bookshelf to get the desired item or see what was in there. Have had them 6months now and no rusting, doesn't scratch the interior of the freezer... easy to pull out by the handles if you are using in a side by side to select and slide back in. Just great.
