Holding up Strong After 8 Years of EDC
I’ve been carrying this same knife for over 8 years and it still looks great, cuts great, and carries great, for the inexpensive price this has been a reliable EDC knife for almost a decade! Still has years of service ahead of it. Love this Tanto blade, sharpens very nicely. Never have had to use the belt strap cutter but seems like it would function fine. Very smooth one handed opening and closing with a flick of the wrist. Great value buy!

Excellent quality, solid build, great work knife.
Excellent quality control. This S&W border guard come sharp, all screws snug, no blade play. If you want a knife to flaunt your flicking and figiting, this knife is not for you. But if you are looking for a hard working, well built yet economical work horse, buy this knife. Excellent quality, very practical, it would be hard to find a better buy.

Compact, Durable, and Reliable – A Must-Have for Camping and Overlanding!
I recently added the Smith & Wesson Benji 2.5in High Carbon S.S. Folding Keychain Knife to my outdoor gear, and I’m incredibly impressed with its performance. Despite its small size, this knife is built to last. The high carbon stainless steel blade is strong and sharp, making it perfect for a variety of tasks while camping or overlanding. Whether I’m cutting through rope, prepping food, or handling general camp chores, this little knife has been a reliable companion. The folding mechanism is smooth and easy to operate, and the knife locks securely in place when open, giving me peace of mind when using it. It’s compact enough to fit on my keychain, so I always have it handy when I need it, but it’s sturdy enough to handle more demanding tasks without feeling flimsy. It’s clear that Smith & Wesson designed this knife with durability in mind.I also appreciate the 1.75-inch modified blade, which strikes a great balance between being small enough for easy carry and large enough to be functional for everyday tasks. The blade holds its edge well, and I’ve been able to use it for several camping trips without needing to sharpen it yet. It’s the kind of tool that’s small enough to go unnoticed in my pocket or attached to my gear, but when it’s time to use it, it performs above expectations. This Knife is a fantastic little tool that punches well above its weight. It’s perfect for anyone who needs a durable, compact knife for outdoor activities like camping and overlanding. With its rugged build, sharp blade, and convenient size, this knife is definitely worth having in your kit. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a reliable knife that won’t take up much space but will be there when you need it most.

Nice knife except ……update….broken 😵💫
Update:I originally gave the knife 5 stars and changing the review. After 7 months using it as an occasional EDC, used the knife and it’s now stuck in an open position and unable to close it. After messing with it I did manage to get it to open and close again so knocking it down a star. If it happens again well …..Ok like the knife, razor sharp out of the box, nice grip, good clip, not to heavy, blade locking safety slide, and very quick, rapid assisted opening. The problem, it does not open very easily, definitely requires effort compared to my other knives. I suspect it has a heavier resistance spring to get that rapid assisted opening action. After trying to loosen it up by repeated openings no go other than a sore finger. Probably will keep it the pluses outweigh the minus

Great small knife
This knife is perfect for the small jobs. My wife calls it my “shorty”. The blade seems to be extremely durable with just enough weight to know it’s there without all the bulk. The feel is nice along with the design. It seems to hold its sharpness well. I don’t use the money clip but it is a big and strong clip on it.

Handy little knife at a good price.
Nice lil knife, esp for the price. It has a flipper stud, but I can't get it to fully open with a flick. It's still a super easy way to deploy the blade. The pivot is a little rough; it feels a bit gritty opening & closing. I just added some lubrication and am working it. This little guy would very much benefit from a bit of jimping for some confidence...it's a small knife!Nice belt/pocket clip with a handy bottle opener. I may try and use this as a money clip

Reference standard for quality.
The media could not be loaded. When you purchase something with the Smith & Wesson name on it, you expect quality. This knife delivers in spades! It has a very well designed, economic grip that is crafted to prevent your hand from slipping in either direction when either stabbing or pulling. It has a great feel in the hand. It weighs enough to feel solid, but not so much that it feels like you’re carrying around cast-iron. The steel is high-quality and durable. It holds an edge extremely well and sharpens very smoothly with a diamond sharpener. The blade length and the overall length when unfolded are really quite excellent. The locking mechanism is impeccable. The window breaker is a wonderful added feature: I never like being in a car without one and now I always have one, even if I’m riding with somebody else. If I could give this knife six stars, I would.I have purchased many knives of this design from many different manufacturers. The one thing that they all have in common is that the hex nuts come loose very quickly and the flick of the blade get sloppy quickly. This knife comes tight. I sprayed a little bit of silicone at the base of the blade and let it bleed into the connection so that it opens very smoothly with a flick of the wrist. The bolt itself has not come loose at all, and it is consistently just tight enough so that the blade isn’t sloppy and doesn’t have any side to side wiggle when opened.

Great Quality Solid Build
Solid feel. Heavy, but I like it that weight. Doesn't feel flimsy. Great quality. Smith & Wesson did a really good job with this particular knife and it looks really good. The grip feels fantastic.
