This is actually just 6.7qt not 7.7qt as amazon has stated. I was expecting a bigger pot than I received. The inside doesn't have the matte finish/look that the outside has. It is smooth and shiny. This pot is not heavy so care must be taken when choosing the amount of heat for cooking. Could potentially cause food to stick at the bottom of the pot
