Snaffling Pig Pork Puffs Mixed Pack (8 x 25g) Low & Slow BBQ, Marvellous Maple Variety Box Low Sugar Low-Carb High Protein Keto Savoury Snack

I'm currently on a carb restrictive diet and have been eating The Curators Pork Puffs as a snack here or there. I discovered Snaffling Pig Co and thought I'd give their flavours a try, as I wanted to expand my selection a bit. While the package arrive quickly, the quality of the products definitely don't seem terrific.For starters, these Pork Puffs are much much harder than The Curators brand I'm used to. It's an odd "flex" to the puffs when bitten into too, giving them a somewhat stale texture (though I don't believe they actually are). This seems to be true for all of the flavours unfortunately.Marvellous Maple - this seems to generally be a sweet/salt flavour combo. The flavour isn't very strong and there's only a hint of 'maple' behind the sweetness. Saltiness isn't too overpowering but it definitely makes itself known.Low and Slow BBQ - again, somewhat lacking in flavour with an unusual 'flexing' while eating (I definitely wouldn't describe these as crispy, more like a harder "old prawn cracker" texture). The flavour isn't very strong and seems to fade very quickly after eating one, to the point where each individual puff seems to be flavourless by the time you've chewed it enough to swallow.Salted - These were probably my favorites of the set, but sadly it didn't escape the 'flex' texture issue. Flavour was fine but there isn't a lot to go wrong here.I don't think I'll be purchasing again, but ultimately I wouldn't say any of these were offensive. For me, these are the kind of snack you'll try, say "eh", and then leave it in the cupboard for months only to grab a pack here or there when you feel like it.

Really like this tasty low carb snack. It’s a lighter version of pork crackling which works really well. It has all the taste of traditional pork crackling but is much lighter and crispier. I find it surprisingly satisfying given how light it is and love the fact that it’s really low in carbs. Easier on the teeth than pork crackling too which is a bonus. A quality snack which is definitely well worth the price.

Bought these to try as prefer the puffed type to the proper pork scratchings, have tried various brands and these are so nice, already have a favourite and will be ordering just those next time, but thats down to my personal taste, 3 flavours to try in this pack and worth it.

I didn’t know what to expect with these. They aren’t like any other snack. They are made from pork and carb free so not like crisps, but are ‘airy’ puffs so nothing like pork scratchings either (though they do taste similar). These are healthier than pork scratchings, so with the switch.

It is an OK product. Not sure if I will buy it again. In one of the bags the pork puffs seemed a bit stale.

I bought these to have with some beers while watching the footie. They were a big hit as the whole box went!! A healthier version of pork scratchings, all of the flavour with less of the bad stuff.

Excent service and product.

Flavourful and crispy , low carb. Great if you follow a keto diet and need a snack.
