SQWAN 3D Printer 42-40 Stepper Motors, 2 Phase 1A 1.8 Degree 0.4N.M, Stepping Motor for 3D Printer Extruder, Compatible with CR-10 Ender-3 E-axis（D-Shape）

Purchased as a replacement for my Ender 3 Pro. Purchased to replace my Z (extruder) motor because mine came with the pressed on gear and the new extruder (all metal that can new gear with set screws) I was putting on I did not want to go thru the trouble of pulling the gear off. Have been thru several hundred prints and this motor has been great and worked just fine.

Had to get this for my Micro Swiss Direct Drive Extruder kit. works perfect.

I had accidentally destroyed my stepper motor, so this was a perfect replacement part for my Ender 3 Pro.

The product will work fine as long as you calibrate your e steps. Don't try to brush it off and start printing. Do it ASAP or you will waste time. Nothing against the product more about my impatience.

I needed to replace an extruder stepper motor because a brass fitting on the old stepper motor refused to come off (even with heat). Rather than cut the shaft, I chose to purchase a new motor and it has performed flawlessly. Very good purchase.

I did not like the extruder motor that came on my new Ender3 3d printer, As the drive gear was pressed on to a round shaft.This would only be an issue if it’s some point I needed to change the drive gear. So I wanted a motor that had a D shaped shaft so I can install a gear that uses worm screws to hold it in place.This was a straight swap. Turn off the printer and hook the wiring clip remove four bolts and the old motors off. Reverse this process to put the new motor back on. Printer prints exactly the same as it did before the swap, because it’s the same motor except for the shaft.

I had never heard of this brand but when I needed to replace my extruder motor I found Creality wanted to provide 3 motors instead of just the one I needed, so I took a long look at this one. In the reviews it was mentioned by more than one that this motor came in a Creality box and was identical to the factory motor. This was my experience also! No issues at all installing and I can't say with 100% certainty, but it seems to me that it is even quieter than the original. If I have a need for more of the motors would surly purchase this brand again.

Works and fit perfectly. Sucks that i had the old model come with my ender 5 pro but its fairly inexpensive to replace i guess. Very happy with this.

Really worth having a spare.

It overheated and stoped extruding. I don't recommend, It created a huge clog once the extruder stopped turning.
