My Archie was diagnosed with renal disease. He had gotten skinny and would vomit a lot. The vet suggested giving him this supplement, and wow it is like night and day the way his health improved after he started taking it. He went back to his normal weight, he stopped vomiting, he's doing great. He seems to love the taste so it is very easy to get him to eat the pill. I will probably be giving him this supplement for the rest of his life, but it is totally worth it.

I use Standard Process supplements for my entire family. They’re AMAZING and they help heal so many different ailments-even those that your doctor will tell you are impossible to heal. Mr Nacho is our 9 year old fixed male kitty. Right around Christmas I noticed that he was getting skinny and his behavior seemed off. Before I had a chance to take him to the vet he was trying to pee, but it was apparent that he couldn’t, as he was trying to urinate in any vessel that was in front of him. I happened to have this product as well as Kidney Gold and it worked overnight-he could pee again! But we weren’t out of the woods yet. He refused to eat these items mixed in with his food, so it was a bit touch and go for a bit before I became wise and started administering it thru a syringe. I also added chicken baby food to the mix to give him a little extra something to help fatten him up. Within a couple of weeks he was well enough to play outside again. I gave him one pill along with Kidney Good twice daily, and eventually added Epaktin to the mix. He never went to the vet, but to be honest I had to make an executive decision. I know that if I took him in they would have suggested I put him down. He had sunken eyes, barely moved-Mr Nacho was a mess. It’s now nearly three months later and he’s catching mice and birds again (he actually caught a mouse three weeks after escaping death). He’s now on a renal diet and doing quite well. I feed him the Tiki brand Silver food.

This is the third cat l have had with chronic kidney failure and all of them have been on this formula. My first cat statistically out lasted cats on restricted diets and with medication.

It took me about a week to introduce this to my cat. I bought a twisting pill crusher to mix in her food. I transitioned her over to a wet diet and have been adding these to her meals. She won't eat solid pills so they must be crushed. She is on wet renal food, kidney support gold, a probiotic, and this. It has been a difficult 3 weeks to get her to used to the supplements and new food but I think this does work. At this stage, I noticed many positives: She has an appetite and wants to eat small meals through out the day. She is not vomiting every day...or nauseous from her ckd. She is playful. She doesn't sleep all day. She enjoys bringing me her toys. She is more social with us. She still drinks a lot of water and pees a lot. I'm looking forward to continuing using this supplement for my girl.

I don’t typically write reviews, but I’d like to bring others hope. This supplement helped save my 16 year old cat’s life. He crashed out of nowhere one day. We went to the vet and he was diagnosed with kidney disease. It was so advanced the vet didn’t know if their treatment would save him or not. I ordered this that same day and it arrived the next. They hospitalized him during the day for 3 days. I crushed this up and mixed it with a Delectables Squeeze Up and Kidney Gold each morning before he went to the vet and each night when he came home and fed it to him from a spoon. Each day he looked a little better and better. On the third day, they ran his labs to see if the fluids were helping. His kidney numbers had actually increased despite his obvious improvement so we were shocked. They sent us home with subcutaneous fluids to do daily. We continued to do that along with his kidney supplement mixture for 10 days. He was doing so well at the end of 10 days that he only needed fluids twice a week. We’ve continued his kidney supplement mixture twice daily the entire time. It has been a month since his first bad day and each day he is better and better. He is much more social than he’s been in years. I haven’t had more labs done to know exactly what his kidneys are doing, but I am so grateful for his improvement and I know this product has a lot to do with it!

This, along with another supplement for cats, has helped my kitty rebound from kidney disease. At 14, he probably still has the disease, but all of the issues associated with it are gone, and he's happy and seemingly very healthy now. Thanks for this pill, which he eats automatically without any fuss!

After reading others reviews about how much their cats enjoyed this product, I decided to purchase and give this to my fur baby that has CKD. She is currently taking Capomorelin for appetite stimulation and Marpitant Citrate for nausea/ vomite prevention. I attempted to give my kitty the first tablet as a "treat" and she didn't want it. I then soaked it in water and gave it to her by syringe. Moments later she vomited. I waited a day and attempted the same process. She vomited from this product again. This product may work for other felines, but it hasn't worked for mine.
