Great little pot, nice material and construction.
Brought at the same time as a frying pan (purchased at a boutique chef retailers) and so far, both the pot and pan seem to be very similar in quality, though we had paid 2-3x the price for the French branded pan. Boils well and easy to clean. Conducts quickly and good size for up to 2 person portion of soup.

Good but pricey
Not sure how this will do in long run. It spots oddly when washed. Otherwise, it is as advertised: multi-layer bottom gives even heat, which is the most important. Stands up to dishwasher and oven. I find it was a bit pricey, but there are others charging absolutely exorbitant prices, so it is fair by comparison.

Where's the QA?
This Duxtop pan is supposed to work with Induction cooktops. "2-quart saucepan made of magnetic stainless steel with aluminum core, suitable for induction, gas, electirc and halogen stovetops." I have a Duxtop cooktop but the pan would not heat up on it. The cooktop produced an error code E0. I put my cast iron pan on the cooktop and it heated up as expected. I tested the Duxtop pan with a magnet but it did not adhere to the pan at all. Did the factory forget something? Like the magnetic layer in the bottom perhaps? So, where's the QA?

Nice size for anyone cooking for one or two.
I have a set of cookware that has both a one quart pot and a two quart pot. What I really missed from my very old set of Reverware pots was the one and a half quart size. This pot has filled the bill. It is a good size for anyone cooking for one or two. My husband likes it because its contour makes cleaning it easier than is the case with my other pots. It is sturdy, of good quality and reasonably prices. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a small pot.
