Twisted Loyalties

I loved Fabi & Leona’s story! They both had such a hard life and I’m so glad they found each other. Fabi had been so hardened by life, Leona softened him again. I loved that there was some slow burn to their relationship, it made it progress a lot more naturally and had me falling even more in love with them.Leona was just the sweetest! She really reminded me of Aria - always wanting to help others, especially her family.Words can’t describe how excited I am for Nino & Remo’s books!!

Finally getting to the Camorra Chronicles.Despite my love for Cora’s books, I’ll admit I entered into this series with a bit of caution. The Born in Blood Chronicles always makes the Vegas mafia seem so evil. Also, with this being Fabiano’s book, I thought it would be challenging for me. I still see him as the little kid trying to protect Aria in book 1. But he’s grown up, and boy oh boy…. Yum.I love how this book introduced us to the Camorra, without throwing us fully in. I think it’s a wonderful transition from the previous series to this one, especially with the character chosen. Like Bound by Vengeance, this one is more focused on the romance, and not the political side of the mafia, and ironically, like BbV, is about the Enforcer of the Camorra. Given Fabi’s job, we see the Camorra in action, but not the same way we did in Luca or Matteo’s books, or what we will see coming next.I also enjoyed how Leona was a complete outsider in this. I think it was refreshing for the series to have a main character not connected to any family already, and also appropriate for Fabi as a partner. I loved her character and her determination. I loved how she was poor and definitely a different take on all the other females we have seen thus far.I loved Cara in BbV, so I look forward to getting into Twisted Emotions involving Kiera, Cara’s sister, now grown up. I suspect we’ll also see a bit of Luca in it when he sends her away.

I was so excited for Ninos story and this book did my imagination justice! Go buy it if you havent read it !

I have been waiting for Fabiano's story just after I finished Vitiello's. And I am very happy! They are so cute and understanding couple with very steamy lifestyle :) Go Fabi!
