Other Issues. - I bought this for an upcoming trip to Italy and Greece. I wanted to not need to have a data plan for doing language translation. Supposedly this device would allow for Italian and Greek to be native (not needing anything else). When we tried to use it to translate Italian, it would not work unless the app was running and we were connected to data. When not connected, it would not do anything, saying that the language was not downloaded or supported. When looking at the app to see if Italian was downloaded, the box was checked, so it should have worked on its own. Also, the sound quality on this is terrible. Basically, this device on its own is nothing more than a microphone and speaker with a Bluetooth interface. All the work is done on your phone. Not sure why it would not work on my wife's iPhone (a few generations old). Since I have international data on T-Mobile, I can get a better translation device just by using my Android phone and Google Translate. I would not recommend this device, based on our experience with it.
