As an adult, it is a daunting task to learn an instrument from scratch - but Lockdown 3 (or four, I can't remember.... Groundhog Day!) is just the time to try!Armed with my cheap but great Ammoon Sax, this book covers everything very well. Reading music, understanding rhythm, and playing the notes (all introduced a couple at a time) followed by nice tunes that help you practice the new notes in a composition with others.The accompanying CD is great. I moved the tracks to my PC and can play an accompaniment on loop so that I can practice a tune as part of the band! Any CD player will do this too.In four weeks, I am about half way through the book, still learning new things every time I start a new lesson, and some of the tunes are lovely and deserve a repeat, which just shows me how far I have come with this instrument in such a short time.Great book, well written, and easy to use - suitable for adult or younger sax student!

I am a 'lapsed' saxophone learner of some years. and couldn't even remember where each note was !! This book gave me that basic help to get learning again, as the 'tunes' are progressive. I am very pleased with the book and so happy to realise how quickly it all comes back to me, with a little help, which this book certainly provided.

This book is fantastic, there are some lovely peices of music in here. Great for adults.

I liked this product because this book had every note and music piece to enjoy playing and my family loved my music after a few months of work! If you are looking for the best pupils Saxophone book then buy this now for the best experience. There was a little problem but it was not really important. It was that the book came in a large package and that was was not a problem and I hope that the business Amazon prime and many others will don supply such little products on a eco-friendly supplement for everyone that wants Merry Christmas!

I like to have a backing track that is playing the same notes by the same instrument as myself, so I know if I am right or wrong, sadly, this has backing tracks mostly with a piano, which as a beginner was not ideal, or sometimes it had a saxophone playing harmonics so I returned it.
