So far, so good.
Fitted this extruder to an Anycubic i3 Mega S printer to replace the original extruder.Installation is pretty straightforward with a bit of thought. I used the original Anycubic metal bracket for this extruder rather than the supplied plastic bracket, and it all fits together nicely and without any additional holes needing to be drilled. As others have said, it is necessary to reverse two of the wires in in the connecting plug so that the stepper motor runs the correct way, but this is very easy to do and there are youtube videos on how to do this. Motor direction can also be changed in the firmware, but it's very easy to just swap two wires instead.Loading filament has not been a problem without the need to adjust the tension spring each time.I'm using a short piece of tube in the inlet side of the extruder to help guide the filament - not sure if this is really needed, but it seems to help with smooth delivery of the filament from the spool so I will keep it in place.Early days, but so far so good. I have just completed a 40 hour print without issue and the extruder is still working quietly and the stepper motor barely got warm.

Good first impressions
Initial impressions are good. I bought this to replace the stock extruder on an Anycubic Mega Zero as I was getting jams every time I tried to print PETG. Fitting this extruder immediately gave me successful prints so absolutely happy there. Compared to he standard extruder this one has a stiffer spring and shorter adjustment screw so it's going to be applying higher pressure on the fillament & it feels more substantial. The included instructions are clear & well illustrated. On the downside, the bowden tube pressure coupler is directly attached to the unit rather than being a screw in unit, if this fails (which isn't uncommon even with good ones) the extruder is nothing but spare parts rather than being a 20 second job to swap out, and be aware that when you take it out of the box the feed lever pin will probably fall out. Be prepared!

Good upgrade from stock extruder
Easy installation, and great performance.Good upgrade from the stock extruder for the CR20-pro, less teeth grinding on filament, and adjustable tension… all worth the upgrade. Don’t forget to recalibrate the E-Steps on installation.

From Hero to Zero
I was very happy with this extruder when I first bought it. However, a couple of months in and it has failed. The trouble is that the housing is made from plastic and this plastic acts as a bearing for the drive gear shaft. The result is that the plastic wears away and the extrusion quality deteriorates and it eventually stops working. It has now been removed and put in the bin. Lesson learnt, don't buy an extruder that has plastic in it.

Not that good, has one flaw
This extruder is easy to fit and easy to use, but it has a very significant flaw. You can't reliably load filament without undoing the tension spring. This means every time you change filament you have to reguage your tension. Which you can't really do properly anyway because it hides the filament.I've gone back to an extruder with a separate tension and loading control. (The one where you press an arm down to lift the feed grip apart

Works perfectly with Flsum Q5 printer
Much better than standard issued extruder on the Q5 will help and make printing so much easier very easy to install and to date had no more issues with extrusion

Either parts are missing or QC is dreadful
The media could not be loaded. I can only assume that this particular part has small part(s) missing, or the supplier has dreadful quality control, because BMG extruders seem popular, I can't imagine that the design is this bad by intention. The Collet that holds the pus-fit connector on the extrusion side will not retain the ptfe tube, it is easily removed by hand. It is also clear it is not working as intended as it is impossible to load filament through it, as the filament hits the end of the tube and pushes it back out again!I took the thing apart (video) to try and reconcile the issue. It's clear that the ptfe tube holder bush is not doing it's job and should be replaced with a standard item. it also looks like the housing of the extruder is missing a recess to receive the ptfe tube, that would centre it and help align the filament with the orifice.***update Sept-21***The seller was very helpful and sent out new parts, and although this was unfortunately not the solution to this problem, they refunded the costs due to the functionality issues.Five stars for service! Thanks.
