Dr. Martens Unisex-Adult Bonny Leather Chukka Boot Fashion

I am a woman with size 8 in the right foot and sz 8 1/2 in the left (just a smidgen longer). I tried the Bonny women's 7 at first. They were too short in the left foot, but a good length the right foot. However, they were too snug in the width for the right foot. Because I have wide feet, the 8 gave me the length I needed for my longer left foot and the width I needed for my wider right foot. I would guess that my right foot is a C/D width and my left is B/C. It also gave room for thicker shoe inserts that I need to support my arches. Fortunately the inserts that come with the boots are removable because, while they have a nice padding, they offer little to no arch support for high arches.Some reviewers mentioned that their heels slide around. I have narrow heels, but the thicker shoe inserts that I use take up the slack. I also try to tie the shoes nice and snug. Thicker socks might help too.Just fyi, the DMs Bonny Boot and the DMs Combs Boot both run a bit wider, so both are a great selection for us wide-foot folks. Sadly, I can never wear those cute, narrower DMs that taper at the toes, but these are great for a more casual look. For a more rugged look, you can switch out the black shoe strings with the yellow ones that come in the box.

I work in residential concrete and bought these boots about a year ago. I wear them to work most days and have since I bought them.I don't like your "typical" work boots that construction workers wears. Like Ariat, Timberland, or whatever. And they're overpriced. But these boots are fantastic. They were broken in and comfortable right out of the box. Not issues with blistering or anything. And they're comfortable all day. And after a year of tough labor they are still in excellent condition. Just a bit dirty of course.Highly, highly recommend. Whether they're for working or casual wear.

Chunky boot style and fits well with plenty of toe space. Leather is quality and laces are quality. Boot pull on strap is ribbon material (most boots use leather material) but it works. Sole is sturdy material and tread design ok. I didn’t buy as a fashion statement but as an outdoor functional hiking/gardening shoes. I would buy again when they finally wear out.

ENG: Very good boots, but go with your regular size. BE CAREFUL WITH THE SIZING REVIEWS. I'm a 41.5 (LAT) or 8.5 (US), and I tried on a size 8 Dr. Martens in a store—it fit, but was snug. I read in several reviews here that this particular model tends to run a bit larger and wider, so I bought a size 8. They fit just as snugly as the ones I tried on. In my opinion, boots shouldn’t be that tight—you need room for socks and, more importantly, to walk comfortably. I suggest going up a full size if you're a half size. I haven’t worn them yet, but they look great. As for whether they’re original, everything seems to point to yes, except that the tread pattern on the sole is diagonal, not perpendicular like in other models from this brand (a minor detail, but something I read in other comments—I don’t know firsthand if it indicates authenticity). Leí aquí en varias reviews que en este modelo en particular suele ser un poco más grande y ancho por lo que me compré un 8. Me quedaron igual de justas que las que me había probado y, a mi entender, unas botas no deben ser tan apretadas, para poder usar medias y sobre todo para poder caminar con comodidad. Sugiero comprar un punto superior si eres medio punto. No las he usado aún pero lucen muy bien. Respecto de si son originales, todo así parece excepto que la trama interna en la suela de es en diagonal, no en perpendicular -como suelen ser los otros modelos de esta marca- (algo irrelevante pero que leí entre estos comentarios; desconozco de primera mano si indica originalidad). They are comfortable right out of the box. They are my very favorite winter boots of all time.

I can never go wrong with these. I don't know why I forget that. I go through so many running shoes for the length of time I get out of one pair of these. My back my hips my knees my feet feel amazing in these. They keep my foot stable and they have a great deal of cushioning. So worth the money.
