Good fit, stock sound, great value.
Great fit for my 96 Mazda Miata! Sounds good, expect stock sound levels. Build quality seems fine. It's good a loud ping while cooling down, but that could be due to my car burning oil right now.

What can you say, it’s aftermarket
After installation. Notice a rattleComing from inside of the muffler part. While driving it’s okay, but at idle it rattles like crazy. Something inside muffler is broken.Tried to return old item and was charge $65 to get boxed up after item was delivered unbox to me.

Perfect fit and replacement for original equipment.
Easy to replace and install. All hanger brackets line up. Not the same heat shield and could not transfer the one off the original due to pipe diameter and bends.

easy to install
Easiest exhaust I installed. 2 bolts and 5 rubber hangers in less than 2 hours 2 install but over 30 minutes to remove call the stickers .As others have stated it comes unboxed with no protective wrapping so check for damage. The heat shield is half the length of the original mufflers shield. Excellent price for what you get. it is fairly quiet.

This is a complete welded one-piece exhaust and it was a perfect fit for a 1996 Miata
Shipped quickly. Will be shipped wrapped in bubble-wrap plastic, not some big cardboard box as you might expect. You should therefore check for shipping damage. This is a complete welded one-piece exhaust and it was a perfect fit for a 1996 Miata. Does not come with fasteners or a gasket, you'll have to buy these. You should wrap the bolts that attach the exhaust to the catalytic converter with Teflon tape when installing to prevent them from seizure due to rust, unless you can find stainless-steel fasteners. Doing this will be very helpful if you have to replace the catalytic converter later because the fasteners shouldn't fuse due to rust. I had a very hard time removing the original nuts and bolts as they were fused to the converter and exhaust flange because they were rusted solid. Using an anti-seizure compound might also work instead of Teflon tape.Remove the rubber mounts from the body first, don't try to fit the exhaust system to the mounts while they're still attached to the body. It's just too difficult unless you have a helper. This exhaust system is heavy and cumbersome for one person to install but it can be done. Spray the 3 (or 4) rubber mounts with WD-40 to make them easier to remove from the car body's metal mounting posts. After removing the rubber mounts, attach the rubber mounts to the exhaust system, raise it, and then slide these mounts into the car body mounting posts. Using jacks to raise the exhaust system makes this process easier if you're doing it yourself.

It was easy to install I did it in my mud driveway
My Miata is quiet again. It was easy to install I did it in my mud driveway. Not quite a perfect fit but close enough I didn't need to force anything. My car is OEM quiet after 2 years of having another brand installed by a professional company (Muffler King) which was supposed to be OEM quiet, that one always sounded like I was being followed by a Semi-truck.

Works great (for a while...:^(!
Purchased this unit (13) months ago for a ‘95 Miata I purchased that had a blown exhaust and up until this morning, I was very satisfied. On a leisurely drive, I noticed a rattle that I assumed was a loose heat shield, so upon returning home, I put it up on the ramps and to my dismay, it’s a loose baffle inside the “stainless steel” muffler (defective weld, I assume). I guess I should have bought the RoadsterSport3 right away, but wasn’t sure... Lesson learned!Update: About 2 weeks later and I'm on my way to my 1st AX event and hanger falls off (rusted weld)... Time to move to a RoadsterSport 3!
