Cernit 1-Piece Clay NATURE 56 G GRANITE, Granite

I used this to repair a very precious turquoise bracelet that I've had for many years. I had little hope of doing a good repair. I haven't used this type of fimo/clay product for many years and I'd forgotten how to use it. The only instructions on the packet are "110-130centigrade for 30 minutes. I tried it once at 120 c and probably handled it far too soon after taking it out of the oven so it hadn't set and the clay came away from the turquoise. The second time was a success though. I left it to set and I can tell there is a repair there but nobody else can unless i point it out. There was quite a big chunk of turquoise missing, this colour is a very natural colour and I don't think it stands out as looking too fake. I might use it again to fill in some finer cracks. Fix is in top right corner about a half cm.

Not bought this brand of polymer clay before, but pleasantly surprised at quality, texture, workability and nice colour and pattern.

I got this for my daughter who make 1/12 miniatures.She really like this Quartz Nature Cernit, it is perfect for making miniature flower pots and other similar items.As all Cernit clay is easy to work with, they are a bit softer than Fimo, but not too soft or sticky like some cheaper brands.

The clay is a little dry and crumbly so takes a fair bit of work to condition it for use. Maybe an older batch? Works fine once conditioned.

Hard to soften in your hands but it's good once you warm it a little
