It's a very good quality 👌
I bought this beautiful book for my personal library and I would like to say it's a really great quality of this Hardcover edition with black and white illustrations! Also I have to say about just amazing price with discount (78%). Shipping was about several days and I received it earlier than I expected! It's also great! I am happy with this purchase, thank you very much!

Nice edition of Poe
Nice hardcover edition of Poe's work. Good quality. Only thing, the copy I received did not look like the picture, which was one of the reasons I purchased this. Still happy, however. Thank you!

Buy it!
I bought this book for about six pounds in the UK ( approx $12US), and was ecstatic to find it. Its nicely formated, with a clear glossary. The pages are on the thin side, but are not irritating in any way. The display picture here does the book no justice. It's got a black linen exterior with metallic gold-not yellow- letterings and designs. After purchasing the book and doing research out of curiosity, I am glad to know that I would not trade my copy for any others out there.

Huh!!!
I bought the book as I remember Edgar Allan Poe from my school days.I haven't read it yet. But plan to refresh my memory soon.I do have a few issues though. The page numbers do not coincide with the index. Under miscellaneous poems. The Raven in the index is page 911. Nope, it's not, it's page 941. This then makes ALL the poems page 941 and higher, wrongly listed in the index. The Forest Reverie is the last poem page 1007 in index, but it's actually on page 1037.Then you advertised the book as having 800 pages. It in fact has 1038.I may well find more mistakes with this book. But until I read it completely, I will not see them until I finish it.

Nice edition, and excellent value.
This review relates to Complete Edgar Allan Poe (Wordsworth Library Collection) This review is for readers like myself, who already have some familiarity with Poe's work, but are wondering what edition might be best to buy.Initially I was considering the 'delux' Complete Tales and Poems of Edgar Allan Poe, The (Barnes & Noble Leatherbound Classics) . The Barnes & Noble edition certainly looks nice (it should be, since it's about three times the price of this edition), but I was partly put off by lots of reviews complaining about its small print. Also, it was going to take about 3 weeks for Amazon to deliver it. So, wondering if I would regret it, I ordered this edition instead.Since it's about a third of the price of the B&N book, I was expecting quite poor quality, but when it arrived I was pleasantly surprised. It's not a 'delux' version by any means, but it's absolutely fine: A cloth-bound hardback, gold lettering on the cover - the awful portrait of Poe is the only thing I don't like about it!The paper quality is also much better than I was expecting, and the print size is also absolutely fine. It's not actually a COMPLETE collection of Poe (neither is the Barnes & Noble), but unless you're looking for something really obscure, you'll almost certainly find it inside these covers. All in all, I can't imagine anyone buying this (at this price!) and being disappointed.Recommended. Good but not as ordered
The book arrived in good time and in good condition but was not as ordered. I love the poems and stories of Edgar Allan Poe and was attracted to the cover of this book. The skull and raven I find very appealing.Unfortunately the edition I received has a very different abstract and swirly cover design not at all for me a reflection of the author or his work.So disappointed with this.Having said that it is a good collection of Poes’ work just a shame about the cover.

Nice but too frail...
I won't go into the contents. They are nicely described in other comments and as you would expect all of Poe's most famous work is in here. However the book is really really REALLY frail. I don t know what I expected for the price, but the pages are so thin that start to "expand" and wrinkle right away in the point of contact with your hand. Even if your hands are not moist. Really cheap newspaper quality paper. I don't expect it to last. The blue edges of the pages are a nice touch, but really have no actual added value.I would exchange it with a thicker paper any day...I really see no purpose for this edition. Hardcovers are expected to be durable. I d rather see this in paper cover and no blue page edges but with thicker paper.I will keep this as my go-to book along with my paperbacks and probably get the deluxe version for my collection.

Poor condition
Would have been great if it had arrived in the new condition I paid for. I'm getting very tired of buying 'new' items only to have them arrive looking like they're used ones! That aside, this is a good collection of Poe's work.
