Useful if you are a "classic computer" nerd like me!
I have an old Amiga 1200 and a load of games and software on CD. Problem is the Amiga doesn't have a built in CD drive (and the add on ones are now "vintage" and cost a fortune!). It does have a PCMCIA slot, though and, with the use of an adapter, will read a Compact Flash Card (as long as it's formatted correctly, etc., etc.). The card does exactly what I need it to do, has been reliable and easy to use. I can now copy programs off my CD's and use them on the Amiga. Happy days!

Good value for money
I got this CF card to pair with an old Nikon D200 that I'm giving to a friend and teaching him about photography. I put it in the camera, formatted it and then took some test shots. It works perfectly. On the Nikon D200 I can get about 250 shots on this card, which is plenty for what we'll be doing. I'll be honest, it looks cheap and of course it is, but it works. And that's the bit that counts. What the longevity will be, I don't know, but I think CF cards in general are fairly robust if you're careful with them.

needed a push to fit into a Nikon D200 - 2 year updated review
CF cards have a lot of contact pins and are notorious for [1] being too wide to fit well and be ejected easily [2] mis-fitting - and bending the contact pins. This Integral make card needed a reasonable push to fit a Nikon - but worked well first time. I don't shoot video - but for still photo speeds, this has been fine, and a 16GB card usually lasts me a day of JPG shooting or longer. Longevityand failure is the big issue with CF cards as they [1] do not rotate written sectors like SD cards - so wear out quicker / develop faults quicker [2] have a much more complex and vulnerable connection with the camera / card readers. I aim to download from the camera by USB cable whenever possible to reduce risk 2. This card is guarantted for 5 years - so identify the card in your collection and keep the sales receipt for any trouble that may come along. If it fails inside 5 years - I will be along to update this review. UPDATE - now my 2 year review - it is still working just fine for me in the Nikon D200. I use it wholly in camera and download only via a camera to laptop USB cable. That way I hope to avoid bent pins etc. I often shoot handheld 5# Auto-bracket sequences at 5 frames/sec and it always keeps up sufficient read speed. I hope this helps other buyers as this is still the cheapest of the "Named Brand" 16GB CF cards on Amazon UK. UPDATE - this is still true in Jan 2025 !

Just works!
Ordered this to replace a unit that's very old and has developed some problems. This card flashed easily if a little slow by today's super-fast standards. I use win32diskimager to put an OS on this card for a Bryston BDP-2 network player and it worked fine. Its relatively cheap compared to some cards so I feel I got good value. Nice one Amazon.

Excellent value
Pondered this card vs much more expensive brands before deciding to give one a whirl. Using an 8gb card in my trusty Canon D40 DSLR. Works absolutely fine. No idea what the write speed is but I’ve had no problems with buffering on burst mode. Excellent value in my opinion.
