Can the night light be turned off?

Yes. We never use the night light and it only lights up when it's time to get up.

How long will the light stay green indicating it's okay to wake up?

Hi, I don't actually own this clock (yet!) but in researching it tonight I downloaded the instruction manual off the manufacturer's website. The manual states that the green 'ok to wake' light will stay on for 30 minutes. Hopes this helps!Update, actually, a few pages further, the manual mentions that both green and yellow lights can be customized to the following duration: 00:15, 00:30, 1:00, 1:30 and 2:00. By default, the clock is set at 0:30 for battery savings reasons.
