I haven’t done a review of an Amazon purchase in a looong time but this deserves one for sure. I have tried all sorts of beard washes and this particular one takes the grand prize. The price was very reasonable. I love the cantaloupe scent and holy cow..use it sparingly because it suds like no other. My beard is very full and about 10 or so inches off my chin. I find that a dime sized portion easily suds up my whole beard. Now for why this will be a recurring purchase. Admittedly after I sleep my poor beard looks like a squirrel’s nest and when I rinse this out I brush through my beard and no tangles! Now as for the scent..like I said it’s awesome but doesn’t seem to last long. But it once and try..it’s a no lose at this price. Even though the scent doesn’t last for me it’s worth it just for the washing experience. It’s dare I say luxurious.

I really like this beard wash. I took a chance on this and it’s a winner. Don’t let the cantaloupe fool you. It does smell like it but you don’t end up smelling like one! It’s fabulous. I didn’t taste it. Why would I? It lathers really well and rinses clean. We might have a new king of beard washes! I like to finish a bottle before crowning.Plus it’s made in the once great state of California and they’re even using bottles made in Cali! All the ingredients are listed and they’re all great once you get Amazon’s label off which covers half of it. Thanks for slapping that on it!

Great love the smell extreme foamy great stuff

I've never had good luck growing a beard, but recently in my life I discovered there is an industry dedicated to helping men with issues such as mine: scraggly beards that grow in full some places, grow patchy in others and grow in whatever-direction-it-feels-like in yet other places. Because of this newfound knowledge, I embarked on my manly bearded endeavor.Regarding this product: lathers very, very well, goes on clean and rinses easily. As another reviewer stated, it even tastes good--I wasn't trying to get it in my mouth, but somehow it happened, and I didn't have to make that spitting noise in the shower. I have a keen sense of smell and Beardsley Wild Berry is not at all overpowering; after rinsing it out, I can't detect a smell at all, but that may just be me.It also appears my beard is a bit more manageable afterward, but certainly it feels soft and clean. Based on other feedback here on Amazon, I use this product every-other day in the shower, and try to avoid washing my beard at all in between. I do use a leave-in conditioner and beard oil, also as recommended by some here. So far, so good for this current attempt at beard-growing.

Review Preface: I have a full beard that hangs about one inch off of my face. I've been growing it out since early November 2014.As a user of scented beard oil, my main concern purchasing this product was the strength of the scent after reading some of the reviews stating that it leaves your beard smelling like wild berry after you wash up. I wanted the soft beard, but not a scent that would overpower my beard oil.After using the beard wash, I can tell you two things about it:1) The scent smells great, is not overpowering, and does not cover up my beard oil scent at all. If anything, my beard oil easily covers up the scent of the wash, which is what I wanted.2) The wash leaves your beard feeling soft and magical. Yes, magical. That is the only word that comes to mind in order to describe the softness. It was like touching a feathery pillow on my face, and my beard was very happy.Highly recommended.

The pro would be that it does keep the beard clean and soft, so it is effective. The downside is that the packaging/label came with substance on it and it corroded the label. Also when this gets on the lips while washing, it has a cloyingly sweet taste.

Works okay, not the best beard shampoo I’ve used. But for the price it’s not terrible. It is very sudsy and foams up good. The cantaloupe one smells good too.

I bought this item for my boyfriend some time ago. I tend to shop around for good deals and different scents so I thought that I would give this Item a try. I have bought him multiple shampoos from this one to ones from the monthly subscribers like Badassbeardcare.com. This one by far is the best one we have tried so far. Gives a great lather and makes his beard smell so yummy. The smell and softness seem to last him a while because I can't seem to stop touching his beard. The competitors I have noticed do not give as much later and have a more dull scent. I do wish you could get this in bigger bottles that way you wouldn't have to order as often , but it is fairly priced for the size that I purchased... I will be purchasing again soon.
