Nailed It!
My nails have gotten brittle as I’ve gotten older, and while I’ve never been a “nail girl,” I’ve been self-conscious about how rough my natural nails have become. That being said, I’m a busy mom of two with a full-time career and other assorted responsibilities, and really can’t slow down because of the sudden appearance of talons on my fingertips. These appealed to me because a friend highly recommended the brand, the pricing seemed reasonable, and they came in a shorter length.Everything was in the package as it should be, and I went about prepping for application, using the wipe provided. The instructions were clear, and once I managed to sort out which nail should go on which finger (the most difficult part of the operation, honestly), I stuck them on and was done. While I know we all have our preferences, I do wish they came in more of a short length and rounded shape. Out of the box, the nails have a square tip. The instructions indicate that you can file them down, but that would have taken an eternity. Instead, I used very sharp clippers and shaped them that way. I think in my case, I’ll only get one use out of this box, as the other remaining nails are so off in sizing (unless I really cut them down along the sides) for my fingers. They are a bit difficult to get used to, but I certainly don’t dislike them! It’s more a matter of getting used to the extra artificial thickness on your own nail (and it catches on your hair, or at least the side and bottom edges of mine did). But I adore the way they look, and will definitely use these again. I started with a subtle color (So, So Stellar), but will probably go more daring next time.

Excellent quality, looks real, beautiful color, long lasting
Fabulous color, super neutral for weddings, work, or just everyday if you don't want your nails to stand out for.more than basic beauty. If might be a good first set if you are worried about the looking fake.I have medium hands and nail beds with a couple of nails with larger nail beds (I never knew this before) and every nail has a fake nail that fits perfectly. These last a week, including washing my hair which is very long, everyday maybe skipping a day, plus daily veggie chopping, peeling, cutting, and mild gardening 2-3 times a week. These are re usable, though they do not say so. I seem to be mildly allergic to the adhesive on one of my thumbs. The thumb is flatter than a normal nail and the. Ali looks normal on my thumb but somehow the adhesive touches skin at the edges. I end up removing my right thumb nail every other night when it starts to burn. However, I am highly allergic to almost everything, especially adhesives so the fact that it is only one nail is fine by me. If you are careful, at the end of the week you can slide something thin and flat u dear the middle of the nail and work it back and forth to remove carefully. Then remove the adhesive by picking it off, it peels like rubber cement, and then buy adhesive tabs to use them again. They definitely do not hold up to two hours in a hot tub or an afternoon in the pool. You will have to reapply with adhesive tabs after a pool or hot tub.I am shocked at how gorgeous they are, they do not look fake, especially in the shorter versions. They are thin like real nails, they can be filed and none have ear chipped or peeled. I have used 8 sets and all were great. I get compliments constantly from people with gorgeous nails and no nails and nice nails, fake nails, and natural nails. Nobody seems to believe they are fake, even the funky patterns they just think I spent a fortune or I am very creative. They are shocked when I tell them. Believe it or not my.main complaints are:-more colors, style,lengths-make small polishes available in matching colors, sometimes my nails grow to the same or longer length on a few nails and I paint them to match my fake nails, it is tough finding a match-prices on Amazon should closely reflect prices in stores, sometimes they are $10 more on Amazon per set. I do not buy those but I would like to have more options and some are just not affordable. I am mostly homebound and go out to see foamy only. I get very sick so I do not waste my better days on shopping, I must do that online. I understand that some items are cheaper here and others are a ripoff but nails seem to be more on the ripoff end than other products.-be more clear in packaging and description if they are rounded or squared, if they are short medium or long. Sometimes it is easy but other times I have to search endlessly to figure it out.

Fabulous!!!!!!!
I am a professional piano player, but I like nice nails. I never was able to wear any over-the-counter fake nails because they were too long and I couldn't work in them. And you older ladies might remember the old school kind of press-ons: the ones that fell off within a few hours? My own nails are great, but by the time I file and smooth them, use cuticle oils every night, and get two or three coats of polish on them ---- I just couldn't be bothered with all that work. These are the answer to a dream! First, they look just like my own nails after I've put all that energy into them. Second, they are the perfect length right out of the box. I can work in them and don't have to think about them. I'm on my fourth week with the same set, and still going! Here's the trick: It will take a little time to figure out the right one for each finger. I dump the whole thing out (there are about 24 in each box of varying sizes.) and line them up in size. Make sure you follow the directions exactly. They suggest you go a little smaller than your own nail. That's good advice, because it insures that when you do something silly like using your fingernail as a tool, you'll be putting pressure on your nail and not the press-on. Try them on until you have found the right ones. This is the longest part of the process. You older ladies: there's an "accent nail" included for the young-at-heart. I am not that person, but I can still easily assemble a set without using the "accents". Make sure your own nails are very clean, and it does help to gently use an orange stick to push back cuticles. Use the cleaning pad enclosed as the last step. The adhesive works with pressure, so you have a tiny bit of wiggle room to tuck them gently close to the cuticle and straight. If you start by lining up the cuticle part, it seems to go better. Then press, as they suggest, from the middle of the nail out.I can't rave about these enough. And they do, you older ladies, come in more demure colors as well as French manicure. They seem pricey, but when you consider you will have them for 10 days (as my daughter says) or four weeks, as has been my experience, and you like looking polished without sitting in a manicurist's chair and paying their prices, this can't be beat!
