I purchased 2 of these cans in 2015 and they are in perfect condition! It hold a lot of trash and fits nicely in the bathroom and office and it’s a real space saver. It’s rather sturdy and made of quality materials. Mine are 10 years old and they are still in perfect shape. It does not dent or deform, and it looks great anywhere! I would purchase this item again if I had a need for one without reservation. I highly recommend this slim trash can as it’s very useful, looks great, high quality plastic that doesn’t deform, and it’s attractive. I highly recommend this product.A+

Lightweight slim plastic trash can. Took forever to get it-I’m talking months. Nice looking and fits in a tight spot in the bath. Needed a replacement for one I had for years that cracked during a move.

Love this style basket.I’ve been slowly switching all my small rectangle and round shape baskets to the shape of a basket. I like the side handle I like how sturdy it is. it doesn’t topple over. Hide the dirt. But it also fits those little grocery store plastic bags with handles perfectly. It also is easy to wash out. The inside is a shiny surface easy to wash, where the outside is textured surface doesn’t show fingerprints. I just think it’s a perfect size to fit into small areas but holds a lot of trash. So found that this style basket comes in a ton of different pretty colors to match each room. I have to have five of them now bronze, black, light blue, white

In our home we have a spare upstairs bathroom and I have claimed this small secluded space for myself as a little private area where I can spend some individual time. This is my personal space, where I can keep all my personal items and tools for skin-care and hair-care, without cluttering up our master bathroom. In addition, I can enjoy a relaxing warm soak in the bathtub, without any interruptions from someone walking in to use the bathroom facilities. Nevertheless, there is a small trade-off as this bathroom is tiny and so narrow that one can touch the opposite wall from the other side. Therefore the floor space is very limited, and there is no room to place a waste basket or anything along the wall without them in the way or getting kicked over. However, I have made this into a cozy room. I have furnished it with a plush floor mat in front of the sink and vanity area, thick and soft towels by the tub, and shelving to hold my skin-care, hair-care products along with an assortment of all my different cosmetics. Therefore, I want to keep this area attractive as it’s my little area to relax and escape any stress from the day. For years, I used a tiny wicker basket as my waste bin and forced it into a sliver of space between the vanity and toilet. However, this basket had a very small diameter, and its height was so short that it needed emptying constantly, often a few times a week. Furthermore, due to the constant squeezing in and tugging out, it was falling apart. I didn’t want to spend a lot on a waste bin and I just needed an inexpensive one that had a larger capacity to fit in the space and not scrape against either the toilet or the side of the vanity. I was looking for a durable plastic that didn’t scream ‘cheap plastic’ like the ‘Rubbermaid’ brand seems to do as I have decorated this bathroom to have an attractive appearance. The Umbra Skinny Trash Can has a contemporary form, and it does not have that ‘tacky’ appearance like so many other waste bins. I chose the dark bronze color because a light shade might discolor, and I wanted it to blend in with the wood vanity and the earth colors and brown shades that are my rugs and towels. The outside of this waste bin is a mat texture, and the interior has a smooth and glossy surface without any corners. Although I use a dark interior liner as protection from ‘gooey’ thrown out trash, this waste bin is fast and easy to clean both the exterior and interior with a sponge. The oval shaped opening has a contemporary and a gradual incline, the shallow section measures 11 ¼” from the floor and slightly slopes up to 13” on the other side. The measurement of the oval opening is 6 ½” at the widest area and has a 13 ½: length opening. I like the open section along the top to grasp as a handle, and this handle is smooth and doesn’t scratch my hand. However, I love the two gallon capacity, which would take weeks to fill up, in case I forget to take out the weekly trash. In conclusion, this is an inexpensive contemporary style waste bin that tucks away and fits into those tight spaces to resolve a limited floor space issue. My waste bin is out of view and tucked away between the vanity and the toilet and I am satisfied how well it blends in. The designed form is not ostentatious and I’m happy that it does not draw attention to my trash as a main focal feature.

I bought three of these garbage cans about 4 years ago for a new apartment. I like the size because it holds a small garbage bag, they are lightweight, and the cutout handle makes it really easy to pick up and turn it sideways so you can dump things into a larger garbage bag. They're also inexpensive so they really deserve five stars as far as I'm concerned. I did take one star off on this review and that is because Amazon has not been able to figure out how to actually ship these without them getting scuffed or damaged in some way. They throw them in a large box with those inflated plastic packing things in it, but it's still bangs all over the place in the box. Of the three that I bought a few years ago, two were scuffed and one had a crack in the bottom and a chip missing from the top. I decided it was too much of a hassle to return, so I covered the missing chip area with packing tape so it would not cut or scratch anyone, and you didn't see any of that with the garbage bag in and hidden on the side of a piece of furniture. Fast forward to now when the wear and tear of that can finally had enough and it developed a hole in the bottom and needed to be replaced. I ordered another one and it came packaged the exact same way with a giant scuff mark on the side. Again, not worth returning it, but if you're looking for a pristine garbage can, this may not be the one for you.

This is the second Skinny Bin I’ve bought as they’re perfect for bathrooms. Great capacity given the narrow depth, the bin fits neatly into improbably small gaps and is perfect for tissues, toilet roll cardboard etc. Easy to grab by the handle and easy to clean. Arrived speedily and earlier than expected. The Pearl white colour is very attractive.
