I've been unable to get rem sleep until I started taking astaxanthin. I can't be 100% sure that's it because now I won't go to sleep without it to experiment. I was waking up with 30 minutes or less REM as measured by the oura ring. One morning I woke up and took astaxanthin and fell back to sleep. The oura ring showed my heart rate drop 10 beats per minute after that! O_O. Now I take about 60mg before bed every night. And my skin also looks amazing! It concentrates in the skin and I'm pretty sure it passes the bbb. I think it could help with emf exposure since I'm sure the skin absorbs a lot of that. This is definitely a favorite suppliment of mine.

The product itself that comes from Dr. Mercola is great. I use it for blood pressure and it definitely works well.I have an issue with the product coming from this seller because I purchased 2 bottles in March 2020 and they both expire in April 2020. This doesn't leave me time to even take them all before the exp date. I purchase other supplements from other sellers and have always had a exp date of at least a year from the date recieved.

So far so goooood! I've only been taking it for a couple weeks now and I overall feel pretty good about it. It's a bit hard to pinpoint all of its benefits because I do take many other wonderful supplements that help in similar functions. The two definite changes I've noticed are:*A clearing of my facial complexion.*Also, and the best benefit I've received thus far is my visual acuity in my right eye which was recently injured and is why I'm taking this product, has already improved. Not dramatically, but noticeably. I look forward to the continued healing process of my stigmatized right eye caused by a minor injury in the recent past.

We used to purchase the 4mg with ALA which is no longer available. We are now using just the Astaxanthin 4mg and our own ALA. The caplet is half full and smaller. I would love to know why the one we used to buy doesn't seem to be in stock. Discontinued? No answers anywhere. Not happy about the price on this or the larger caplet.

I have been taking astaxanthin for a number of years. I was told it is a supplement that is good for the heart. So far, so good. No heart associated problems.
