I had a dash light come on for my truck. The possible problem was a worn gas cap. I decided to try a locking one to secure my gas tank. The gas cap works well and fixed the issue that caused the dash light to come on. Much cheaper than the replacement cap from the dealer, and this one has a lock. It does mean a little extra effort is needed to lock and unlock the gas cap when filling up, but I think the extra security is worth it.

I was told it would fit a Prius 2007. It will lock but it is VERY loose which would set off all the alarms. I have had gas caps that were loose and it sets off alarms so when I saw it was that loose I sent it back. Looks like it would have worked if it was the right cap for my car. Frustrating- now I go through the process of sending it back.

I even watched how to use it on YouTube. I use it but it doesn’t lock.

I just wish the two could have been keyed alike

Slight wrinkle in delivery (like anything in 2021) and the gas cap works fine on a Cruze. I got prompt seller help and the item arrived quickly once things were sorted out. The item was chosen as it can be used as a regular gas cap as well as a locking one due to the key positions for both lock and unlock. Keep your old cap in the trunk as a backup!Note: This won’t keep out the cordless drill bandits, but handy for delaying the occasional opportunistic s@umbag.

So I have a 2005 Toyota Tundra and it fit well. But you have to play with it so you understand how it works it’s not that to understand it but you need to know how to use it right so you can use it for it’s purpose,

I love the fact it's so easy to use

I had looked everywhere for this year and model of locking gas tank cover. We had someone going around in our nice neighborhood, stealing gas, so I wanted to get something to prevent that, and this worked perfectly and it's also a great price for the quality of this item.

I liked it and I used it to put on my truck so nobody could syphon my gas because were having problems in the subdivision

Works good, no spot to attach the cable

It works but seems like it's built cheaply, not so much the cap but the lock, the keys are sturdy.

Fits my Cruze what more can I say
